As a child I used to flush my toys down the toilet. I remember having a wind up toy frog that I could put in the bath tub and it would swim around. I flushed that down the toilet. Luckily it got caught in the pee trap of the toilet. My dad made me help him remove the toilet and grad the toy. I never flushed another toy down the toilet.
@Tailss13 жыл бұрын
My dad also had to remove the toilet once to remove flushed toys, but I think my brother got blamed for it. 😁😁😁

That was always my father’s teaching lesson; you did it, you fix it. I never did the same stupid thing twice and began to see consequences for my actions ahead of time. Other kids had it easy - they got smacked. Today parents just lie for them.

Finally some closure. I always wondered what you guys did to patch up the toilet after drilling a hole in it.

Possibly to avoid damaging the porcelain. Maybe there’s less risk of stuffing it up by cutting up a small hole on the back

@T1G3R0095 жыл бұрын
Max Verschuren I doubt it would work unless you’re careful enough. If those metal jetter heads slap the side of the porcelain it will definitely break it. It’s safer to just cut a hole straight down than navigating it through the bends of the toilet. Also they don’t just cut the toilet Willy nilly. They attack the inspection openings first but sometimes you gotta just go through the loo.

Are toilets installed differently over there? This is the second toilet I have seen you drill in to. I also don't see any flange bolts, or access holes that would otherwise be covering them up.
@RobThompsontheITguy3 жыл бұрын
He only drills a hole in the pan when the toilet is cemented in. A very high percentage of the time when someone tries to remove a toilet that is cemented in, the toilet ends up broken. Yes, it is a different installation method and in my experience, in OZ they're usually cemented in by homeowners who rent their properties. Also Ollie does a lot of work in properties that accept subsidies.

A hole in the pipe... That won't be inexpensive to fix. Since the homeowner can't prove that the tenant created the hole, the homeowner will most likely eat the cost, right? Is this subsidised housing or does the council own some housing?
