My Question.. Please make list of songs Drake actually wrote himself vs songs that were written by others artists or ghostwriters. Please be specific AI Response "Drake, like MANY successful artists, collaborates with a range of writers and producers for his music. Here’s a breakdown of some songs that Drake has written himself versus those where he had significant help from other artists or ghostwriters. Note that collaboration is a common practice in the music industry, and many songs involve multiple contributors. Songs Drake Wrote Himself "Marvins Room" - Written by Drake, Noah "40" Shebib, and Adrian X. "Best I Ever Had" - Written by Drake. "Over" - Written by Drake, Boi-1da, and Al Khaaliq. "Headlines" - Written by Drake, Noah "40" Shebib, Matthew Samuels, and Aubrey Graham. "Started From the Bottom" - Written by Drake, Noah "40" Shebib, and Mike Zombie. "10 Bands" - Written by Drake, Timmy Thomas, and others. "Energy" - Written by Drake, Matthew Samuels, Noah Shebib, and Richard Dorfmeister. Songs with Significant Contribution from Other Writers/Ghostwriters "Hold On, We're Going Home" - Written by Drake, Noah "40" Shebib, Majid Jordan, and others. "0 to 100 / The Catch Up" - Written by Drake, Noah "40" Shebib, and several others, including Quentin Miller. "R.I.C.O." (feat. Meek Mill) - Written by Drake, Robert Rihmeek Williams, and others. "Know Yourself" - Written by Drake, Quentin Miller, and others. "Jumpman" (with Future) - Written by Drake, Nayvadius Wilburn (Future), and several others. "Controlla" - Written by Drake, Matthew Samuels, and others, with contributions from Beenie Man. "Hotline Bling" - Written by Drake and Timmy Thomas, based on his song "Why Can't We Live Together." Additional Notes Quentin Miller: Quentin Miller is often cited as a significant contributor to several of Drake's songs, particularly those on the album "If You're Reading This It's Too Late." Collaborations: Many of Drake’s songs, especially from his more recent albums, involve collaboration with various artists and producers, making it common to see multiple writers credited. Sampling: Some of Drake’s songs, like "Hotline Bling," heavily sample other tracks, leading to additional writers being credited. This list is not exhaustive but highlights a mix of songs that Drake has been heavily involved in writing himself versus those with notable contributions from others. For a detailed breakdown of songwriting credits, one would need to refer to the liner notes of each album or database entries on platforms like ASCAP or BMI."

it is not OK in the genre of rap for an artist to copy entire chorus’, verses, hooks, flow AND style. I do understand that there are some shared pieces between rap artists when songs are being composed. But it is not acceptable to have that many references in this particular genre that celebrates authenticity . This type of copying or ghostwriting is common in other genres such as in pop. Drake can no longer call himself a rap artist nor an MC he has lost that title and he has lost the right to call himself an MC. He is a popstar that is the genre he belongs in and he can continue to either make pop music or he can discontinue his career from this point forward.

@@TheHHSBCrew He's hip-hop's Elvis, almost literally. Elvis was famous for making black music and dance palatable for working class whites. All the people Elvis stole his swag from were never credited, there are bars and clubs on Beale st. in Nashville where he used to go watch underground black blues musicians play, when he was young. I know of these stories because I've been there, talked to the owners and elders. But beyond that, Elvis was also a F.A.W., Freaky a** Wicca, married his 13 year old cousin. Funny how some things change, while so much remains the same... Keep up the hustle, have a blessed day.

Vory's track is better; it's not even close, and that's props to Vory, not hate to Drake. Never in my life thought Drake would get outdone by a reference track. I thought the whole point of ghost writing/reference tracks was that it's someone who can write but doesn't have the voice, delivery, sauce, or image channeling their writing through someone who does. Vory clearly has all that, so it's just weird to me.

For me personally, i was turned off when I found out that my favorite songs off "Take Care," were all from the Weeknd. I went back and listened to "Trilogy" I could hear how those songs fit THOSE albums perfectly. That combined with the fact that Drake's first studio album "Thank Me Later" was decent but sounded repetitive except for the song Kanye gave him, made stop taking him serious. And for the record, i'm a old head and I completely stopped listening to Easy E when i found out he didn't write anything AND was ripping off his writers.

But when it comes to straight up raps until they release a time stamp reference or any of the straight up raps idc about the pop rap references. MY QUESTION Please make a list of songs kendrick wrote himself vs songs that were written by other artists or ghost writers. Please be specific AI ANSWERS "Kendrick Lamar is known for his lyrical prowess and OFTEN writes his own material. This list highlights some key songs and their writing credits. For a comprehensive breakdown, including specific contributions, examining the liner notes of each album or credits on music databases would provide more detail."

We the real "Songwriters" (Ty Hannah) that came up with drake 2008, Southern Region) we already knew He was "NOT LIKE US" we been writing for him since "Best I Ever Had" he was the co writer on that not the writer the shift took place when he burned us stole from us!! Beyonce didnt wright any of her songs either and the list goes on!! Lyricist should never have any co writer ghostwriter period!! Ric Ross writes all his own raps! Even wrote drakes raps!!

If it was just the writers, we would just put him on the pop lane and forget about it. But dudes not only wrote it, they came out with the flows and cadences too. Draked just karaoked it. It easy being a hitmaker when you don't even need to think about the art and flows anvolved. Dude ia a fraud.

@@TheHHSBCrew Yep. And that piss me off too. Like Damn, man. We have a lot of brothers with huge amount of talent that are authentics and they sit on the dark while feeding those vultures with their talent and helping them become billionaires while they just get some bags that don't change their lives. Look what happened to Quentin. Dude wrote a lot of Drakes early classics and know can't even find a job because he lost a leg in a car accident. And Drake got all the fame and money from dude's work.

My dad worked in the music as a song r&b artist and later song or ghost writer. A lot of people think that this is only a Drake thing but you will be surprised how many rappers and singers are getting references. The very rappers who people rated and made high quality albums have not only used their lyrics and mind for the music that has been consistently put out
@QueenSamiyah
@QueenSamiyah 4 ай бұрын
I know many singers don't write their own, and some singers write for others. I'm sure rappers borrow lyrics too (which is extremely frowned upon in the game as it goes against the entire point) but to claim you are the best GOAT KING when you know this is your style of making songs is a huge problem. Anyone that claims to be the best WILL be challenged and if they have skeletons in their closet they will fall out at that time
