It's crazy revisiting these videos of early drake. For most fans, you were probably in early high school when Drake first dropped. He was different. No other rapper in 2008 had his sound, his bars with emotion. It was a different era. His House of Blues show tours were epic in 2009, and the Glow in the Dark Tour with Kanye....to see what Drake has blown up to now is jus t insane.

creativity when it comes to flow and lyricism is more than apparent in Chris. MANY people from Philly to NY, etc. are pretty damn sure Jay himself jacked Chris' style. That "smooth & whisper" type flow that Jay's got, he started using in '99, the year he signed Chris (who had that style then at 16). That speaks volumes. "some of his older material" i saw him in the booth in his house during a degrassi cast special...where he used a line from Kriss Kross (of all groups..lol) in his "freestyle".
