I've been presenting this argument ever since I first saw Drake working under Kaido: He is working as a Marine deep cover agent, and it's possible not even Akainu is in on the secret. Sengoku is again playing the Corazón card, this time on Kaido, and it's likely it was Drake's idea to begin with; there might be some background story between him and Kaido. Maybe Kaido was the one responsible from his father switching from Marine to Pirate, in some manner. I see him actively seeking to create an opening to bring Kaido down, contrary to Hawkins, who is just waiting for it to happen on its own. Hawkins will adapt to anything his cards say, I don't believe he wants to be under Kaido, but he will be until he is positive he is able to betray him with no consequences. And I believe Apoo is also waiting for a chance to present itself, and I see him partying with Brook against some Beast Pirates officer.

@@AliYisa Disregarding the fact that I'm nobody to judge, I started as anime only, as most of us did. Picked up the manga because I wanted to know what happened later and couldn't wait week after week. Since then I've re-read it entirely twice (when I say entirely, of course I'm not counting Long Ring Long Land), and am doing so again now, on par with The One Piece Virgin podcast on Rant Cafe, and have rewatched it entirely at least once, and certain arcs like dozens of times. Plus, there are things that are done better in the anime. Something simple, for example, like Zoro getting Sandai Kitetsu, if you only read it, without watching the adaptation, it's cool, but not even close to the level of epicness the anime gives (not to mention really dramatic scenes like Arlong Park, I want to live, the moment exactly before Nothing happened, the funeral, yohohoho, etc). I hate Toei because they could do something WAY better (and because they made 2 and a half fillers with fucking Foxy after proving they can do quality fillers like G-8, which is the best filler in anime history, fight me), but that's a different story

I think none of the Supernovas will ever be loyal to one of the Yonkos - they probably are all either trying not to get killed by them, tolerating them because they're too strong to take down right now, actively trying to fight them, or simply profiting from their existence. I believe that they would only ever fully bow down and fully accept submission to one of their own - probably either Luffy or Blackbeard, for plot reasons - because their drive to the top can only be supplanted by someone with a superior drive. Also, I'm pretty sure Law will stay allied to the Strawhats at this point, and the inevitable conclusion of that collaboration would be as a "vassal" of the King of the Pirates I think, so that opens the possibility for other Supernovas to join Luffy.

Difference is, with Hawkins' fruit, the sacrifice take all damage Hawkins receive, Kaido may be unable to damage himself, but Hawkins can, so if someone were to cut Hawkins' head, Kaido's head would go flying instead. No matter how invincible he is, if Hawkins can destroy every vital organ he has, that's sure to put some big damage on the guy.
