Heard this song for the first time when a real close friend lost his mother.... He was in the kitchen hugging his little brother while he cried his eyes out... This was on the radio. "Just hold on we're going home..." This song since has taken on a different meaning than it was written for.... It's amazing how the brain works.... This song always brings water from my eyes.

I remember when this track first came out. I was sixteen, totally free from responsibility, enjoying the privileged life I lived. Summer days by the river, hanging out with the guys, going to parties, and sneaking out to see my high school girlfriend in the evenings. This song brings me back to those fond memories. A time I desperately want to go back to. Thanks for making the 2013 summer the best one I ever had Drake.

I’ll never forget this song. I remember that in 2016, when I was probably seven, it was nighttime, and I was in the backseat of a car drinking an Oreo Shake Burger King had came out with and eating the chicken nuggets. I would be looking out of the window seeing street lights and vehicles we pass by while this song plays. Whenever I’m in the car at nighttime, this plays in my head and the images of my little self in the car looking at the dark streets. This song helps me sleep as it still takes me back to the great memories I have. I remember my toddler self would be sitting on a couch watching Family Guy, Robot Chicken, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Ridiculousness, Beavis And Butt-Head, Discovery Channel stuff and Spike TV stuff. Greatest memories ever. I’m now 16 and still enjoying this to this day. I’ll talk about some more of my awesome memories later!

Happy 11th Anniversary to Hold On (We're Going Home), I just heard this song today, and I have been listening to this song since at least 2013. I miss my childhood. We need this era back. This beat is really bringing back the memories of 2013 - 2014. I wish time travel was real. Don't let this generation die. I'm from Jersey so I remember sometime in late September 2013 driving on the Garden State Parkway in Newark, driving to my grandparents listening to this for the first time. The bass beat and the chorus are really giving me major flashbacks. I was only 4 when this song came out. This was one of my and my dad's favorite songs of 2013. You couldn't go a few minutes on the radio without hearing this song again. I really can't believe that this song is 10 years old. This is one of those songs when you can remember what you were doing, what you were wearing, and when you heard it. September 25, 2013 - September 25, 2024.

Nah fr. The late 2013 was such good times when this song dropped. I remember being in 5th grade around that this time, Drake was quite literally the hottest rapper in the world and arguably the biggest artist. This song one of them ones that hit the soul and will forever be timeless, it’s a sad but nostalgic feeling words can’t describe, I miss this era of life/America so much it’s just not the same no more where has time gone man smh.

Drake is just one my favorite artist of this generation i think he is just on another level when it comes to making music he has unbelievable talent, I really think him J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar,Wale, D'Allan Rixxx are just for the people and they will be around for the future to come.
