It's kind of a relief to hear Drake say early in the interview that some nights they struggle to come up with something. There's frustration, pointless nights ETC. As a producer and a writer I get a lot of those nights and they can be extremely disheartening and frustrating. It's kind of relieving to know that people such as Drake & 40 go through the same thing.

Nah I feel like every album receives this similar response. With Drake this time around people were expecting bangers, but he gave that that retro Drake that a lot of people didn't really like much.
