It's kind of a relief to hear Drake say early in the interview that some nights they struggle to come up with something. There's frustration, pointless nights ETC. As a producer and a writer I get a lot of those nights and they can be extremely disheartening and frustrating. It's kind of relieving to know that people such as Drake & 40 go through the same thing.

People hate Drake but around the time of 2014-2016, Drake was working harder than everybody else to solidify his spot as the top artist in the game. That's not the the problem is what you don't understand. It's not good because the music isn't good. It has nothing to do with singing. Take Care is considered to be his best album and he sings for most of it. So you're argument is false. People don't like the album because the music just isn't good. NWTS is my favorite album of his and that's old drake. No one is mad that he is singing, I'm mad that the melodies he is singing don't fit the song or aren't good

How's that shit weird? You want the nigga to be all hype while he's just casually talking in a casual interview? Pull up a Cole or Kendrick interview, they're calm and chill af compared to some of their tracks they're hype on. The nigga is an artist so if he's feelin like he's the shit he's gon rap, if he's feelin some type of way then he's gon sing. Someone can't feel or act the same all the time so his music won't either.

Nah I feel like every album receives this similar response. With Drake this time around people were expecting bangers, but he gave that that retro Drake that a lot of people didn't really like much. They wanted him to spit heat, not sing on most of the tracks. I think it's an ok album, but nothing new, just Drake being Drake. Playing it safe and moving the chips right.

All of my close friends know that for me Take Care was my #1 Drake project just everything about that project at the time hit it home with me personally... with that being said I think VIEWS may be better than that. I don't know if it's because since Take Care I've grown more and Views reflects that growth in me but in Drake as well but it's mature. It's like Drake took the basic skeleton of Take Care and matured it to a fine project. Views gets a 9/10 for me.
@oriole24308 жыл бұрын
+Dubious Exactly. Drake took his songwriting to a new level with this album, and the overall mixing and mastering on this project made for a very cohesive album.
