The clip "great under pressure" where he throws a ball that is probably picked 50% of the time in the NFL and he completely misses the hot read who is wide open on a simple hitch to the same side of the field and much safer play isn't proving what you say it is. In the redzone you can't just throw up hope balls. That was the wrong read and decision.

As usual, he's got all day to get balls out in the highlights. How's he do when under pressure? "50/50 ball - Got lucky" Everyone that loves him raves about his traits and apologizes for his deficiencies (they do the opposite for guys they don't like, undermining their success, highlighting their faults) You can't say Drake Maye is a bust until you do see how he plays with/against NFL players, but I see absolutely no reason to believe he isn't. That should be the default assignment, not the opposite.

Zach Wilson wasn’t impressive outside his throwing ability in college, and Mac was surrounded by 4 and 5 star talents.

I would say better than 99% of the QBs in the NFL can throw the ball fifty-five yards in the air! Curious why all you show are the clips where he looked good and not the ones where he looked bad?
@zachmiller34017 ай бұрын
Yeah not the best choice of wording on my end! I meant with the placement and touch he consistently shows on his deep ball. Usually we have a clip to discuss weak points but really felt these clips were the most important for the valuation so we instead layered our discussion with his weaker points, hope that helps!

@zachmiller3401 Hey Zach, do you know, quickly, without looking it up, who threw it the longest?
@zachmiller34017 ай бұрын
In this class? And are we taking air yards or like completion - my guess on that would be Nix or Penix but I imagine Milton can chuck it the farthest

This guys is trash from the very first play lol. Who throws that ball? No NfL QB except Sam Howell. Terrible decision maker. He has too many lapses in judgment and is wild with his feet and techniques. Definitely not worth the hype. His game is all hope. Hope he gets his flaws fixed. Hope he can hit the right guy. Hope he’ll get more accurate. That sounds like a project. Project players aren’t worth a high draft pick.
