I really liked how Drake Maye threw it to Polk with a defender on him, even though Douglas was right there wide open underneath. That shows confidence and it was a good read.

Drake has great talent, but he still hitches his feet together and moves up toward the line unnecessarily, sometimes moving to his left right before he throws. They’ll work on him with that I’m sure. I’m generally excited about his future because of his raw talent.

People change.....things change all the time. Brock and other QB's like Zak Wilson are changing in their throws and style because of great QB HC coaches like Sean Peyton and Doug Peterson and Bill Callahan and Kyle Shanahan....QB mechanics will change under these coaches. Drake Maye is working on his mechanics and studying the play book....he looks comfortable and ready. He still is raw in reading defenses...but he will get there.

This event was very predictable to me which I stated on several occasions especially last week. Drake Maye looked comfortable to me in the pocket last week when critics were saying that he needs a little more time......I said throw him out there and look what happen. Those non talented not special receivers were elevated to shine like vet receivers because of Drake at the helm. Bassett.....I have seen him play in the past he not good. Never has been. He gets sacked a lot and throws interceptions because doesn't have quick response time and doesn't see the entire field in 3 seconds and Drake Maye does and it shows. He looks comfortable in the pocket to me. Give him a year...and according to the script....his Josh Allen style and looks will have all the Sports analysts like yourselves be talking about him.....and Simms has to eat Crow once again. You media people who vote on the MVP if you picked Lamar Jackson you should be ashamed of yourselves. Dak Prescott was the best QB in the NFL last year. If the award must go to a QB then Dak deserved it NOT Lamar Jackson. I don’t even know how you can look at these 2 guys stats side by side and come to any other conclusion. But really Christian McCaffery was the MVP last year. I can’t stand McCaffery and I don’t like the 49ers but he was the best PLAYER in the NFL last year. Lamar didn’t have and has never had 4000 passing yards. How does a QB who passes for Less than 4000 yards and 23 tds win the fucking MVP? If His name is Lamar that’s how. What a joke.
