People claim "____rapper can do better but ___ rapper is not even on the charts" Ya'll just (H)aving (A)nger (T)owards (E)veryones (R)eaching (S)uccess... lol... This is 2014... Kendrick said harsh words? News to me. He said rap is a competition and I'm trying to be the best. I don't care if you are my friend, I want to be the best by beating the best. And then he mentioned the best in the game right now who he wants to beat. Harsh words? I think not.

When Meek began hollering about Drake not writing his own shit, i didn't believe it for one second, even after the Q. Miller leaks, because i know Drake has written for other people himself and probably your favorite rappers, "that's why every song sound like drake featuring Drake." Lyrically he's been nice since '06 too.. RFI & CBS shit.
@KIDisDopeee
@KIDisDopeee 8 жыл бұрын
toronz ali You telling me every song, since '06, has been written for him? C'mon son, you'll believe anything Meek feeds you huh? And I'm not saying Miller didn't write those songs, I'm saying he's not employing full time ghostwriters. Lol The shit he had help to write isn't even his best work... Any nigga that says "dickrider" are sus btw, fuck out of here!

toronz ali What do you mean Drake hasn't proven himself? He's written for other people though... If the argument is whether or not he can write, wouldn't having proof of him writing for other people negate the allegations of him not writing his own shit? And have you been LISTENING to Drake since Comeback Season, or HATING on him since then? Lol At the end of the day WE can not prove nor disprove this shit, and by him not disclosing or talking about it doesn't make it true either, he's just smart! Media everywhere will find ways to twist his words if he were to ever do an interview about it! And if your implying I'm not a real Hip Hop fan, you don't want to go there, trust me... I've been a product of Hip Hop since day 1. I also wouldn't trust a nigga that always seems to bite the hand that feeds him (Meek).

Warren Jay i fucks with drake but he gotta hold this L for having a ghostwriter...simple as that and even a bigger L for a verse....he co wrote those songs like for jamie foxx and others so lets not act like hes a genius and bruhh the weekend said like 50% of take care by drake was written by him and thats a fact ..its in a article somehwere you can find and weekend didnt get no credit for that which disproves your facts about drake ...drake been had ghostwriter for years and he stole the verse from yg who do you love from 4 tay (90s rapper) which he sued for and settle it behind the scenes....drake been cheating for years but no1 really notice until meek brang it..and meek didnt bite nothing..he dont owe drake shit meek got here all by himself wtf did drake?a verse? meek paid for that so he dont owe him shit only rick ross

Drake thought he had a bro to ride with in Kendrick. Kendrick was like nahh bra, you not gonna son me. Understand once Drake takes you under his wing, you'll never get outta it. Artists like Majid Jordan,PND. He almost did the same with the Weeknd. THAT'S WHY HE WAS SO TOUCHED. THAT'S WHY HE SO COLD AND DISTANT TO THESE RAPPERS.

lmao yo this dude drake is a clown man. How you gon say you ready for somebody to name drop but Kendrick Lamar did and his feelings was hurt. Even tho Kendrick clearly said he wasnt dissin nobody he was just upping the competition but drake took it as a diss so he shouldve battled him if he felt like that. Drake dope and all but cmon son, you cant be the only one catching feelings over a little competition. lol

Good point. I just don't like how the hip-hop scene is too friendly. Nobody tries to challenge each other like before. Since everyones in their own lanes (more or less) that kind of edges out the competitiveness of hip-hop. Kendrick did a great thing with his verse on Control, it hyped up rappers from all regions. Drake is talented but doesn't nearly push himself as much as he should because no one has truly called his skills as a emcee into question
