African American lineage is mixed due to slavery. Pure Black ethnicity are the African immigrants who come here. You can't have the photo shoot in the actual short film, because the photo shoot is based on the subject matter of the short film... And if you watch whole thing, the film clearly alludes to black stereotypes (specifically in regards to the better reception of lighter skin tones), and there is clear sense of awareness...
