I’m not a rap fan (metal and rock are the vast majority of what I listen to), but this beef totally engaged me, because I’ve never been able to stand Drake. I hate his music and I hate the vibes he gives off. (If I were in a bad and he sat down, I’d put my hand over my drink.) I like *everything* I’ve ever heard from Kendrick, except one bar about The Eiffel Tower. I think this sounds better than anything else I’ve heard from Drake, but I still don’t like it. I think it’s lyrically weak, and full of lies. He’s gross (as usual) about women. At least he sounds like he’s awake. I’d give it a four as a song, and a two as a diss-the latter would probably be higher, but he was too scattered. I’m glad people reacted to it, because it builds in breaks. I can’t listen to Drake’s voice for a whole song all at once.
