Kendrick is from Compton, we know who his family are, he isn’t a gangbanger but he grew up in that world, immersed in that world, his own family members…and he doesn’t talk about the shit Drake does. Kendrick is from the culture and speaks to improving it. Drake is a sheltered suburban child star. This is like having to tell Someone wrestling isn’t real. The whole song is dissing Kendrick, where Drake uses Tupac and Snoop to appear as they motivating Kendrick to drop but Drake is taking shots at Kendrick. Drake is also trying to neutralize what Kendrick could possibly come back at him like the Tupac saying "He effs with young girls" and all the other things they speak negatively about Drake. At the end where Drake agrees with Snoop he's really agreeing with all the diss bars he (Drake ) just dropped on Kendrick... but using the Snoop as the medium to deliver them. Come to think of it Drake is taking the piss out Kendrick's "The Heart Part 5" where Kendrick rapped as incarnations of different people

The usage of 2pac and Snoop dogg in Al is basically to symbolize the west coast ties that Kendrick represents. He was the "chosen one" the next up for the west. It wasn't meant to emulate pac and snoop accurately but to really poke at him through his rap idols. The words are really what the focus should be on because the flow is clearly drake hes not hiding that.

NGL drake actually holds his own when he has beef with someone he's actually smart and more calculating than he looks which you wouldn't think for a singing rapper that's a pop artist that's deemed soft. So far I can only say against Pusha T he really took an L. What he did to Meek was unprecedented (they've squashed now I know) and this new beef with Kendrick and others (well not new but recently becoming more public), Drake actually doing his thing and I rate some these other artists he's beefing.
