What Lil Wayne needs right now is a real friend that will sit him down to express their concerns for his addiction and suggest he gets into a recovery program. All this fake rage is going to make the Super Bowl stop booking rap artist. Super Bowl/ NFL is a franchise that is in the business of making money at a family friendly event. They do not want Wayne representing their brand period. I've never been a huge fan of Wayne because I felt he was promoting sex, money, promiscuity, violence, death, and drugs on the youth in ALL his songs and that's an awful thing for our culture that's why it's where it is today. Don't get me wrong just because lil ole me didn't care much for his music doesn't take away his lyrics/flow it's just me I'm not into this new style of rap. Wayne is mean with his pen but he just sending the wrong message. Besides I would like to see him get better mentally, physically, and emotionally. That video he made wasn't a good look. He wasn't even a good sport he couldn't congratulated Kendrick Lamar. Our youth are watching be careful of the spell y'all put onto them. 😢

If I was in Jay’s shoes I’m still picking Kendrick over Wayne because picking Kendrick will elevate viewing numbers and it will definitely bring in more people to New Orleans just to see Kendrick perform. That means boosting their local economy. Picking Kendrick also means I get to maintain my relationship with the heads of NFL because I made some promises and also to give hip hop and rap some spotlight, when the past Super Bowl performances rarely have hip hop acts.
