I understand that feeling brother. My girlfriend of 5 years broke up with me and blocked me everywhere. You can only strive to get better and be able to look back and realize how much you've changed. It hurts now, and don't try to avoid feeling what you have to feel. Simply push yourself through that pain, because no one else will. Do it for you and for a better you. It’s been a year and a half since the same thing happened to me, all I did was try to help her with her problems and deal with her bs all the time, all the sudden I’m the “emotional abuser”. Only advice I can give is that it doesn’t get easier, you just learn to live with it as it seems farther and farther away with each passing day turning to months turning to years. Keep your head up move on and focus on yourself. Let her play those rumors on you, you’ll know who your real friends are if they give into them or not.
