I am proud to say that I was a member of this choir in 1974, and in 1973 this was the best choir in the world. Seems like they are even better now!!

These kids have travelled, and are famous, all over the world, especially in Japan - they love them. They all received the "keys to the city" in one American town. If they ever come to England, then "xas mena i xas wena". My home is their home - if they can all fit in that is :-)

Yes, all the performers are Drakies - the singing, drumming and dancing are all improvised by the boys, passed down and developed over the last 12 years or so, with minimal input from the music staff.

The DVD is available through the school's website at dbcs- costs 210 Rand, about 30 dollars- they are very efficient - takes about 2weeks though by surface mail.
