Drakesbrook Weir - Waroona - Western Australia

Drakesbrook Weir is just south of the town of Waroona.
It is a picturesque man-made lake that is a favourite recreation spot for locals and visitors alike.
Facilities at the lake include seats, tables, shelters, Bbqs, solar lights, bins and toilets and activities include swimming, fishing, bird watching, walking and the use of un-powered watercraft such as kayaks.

and there was me thinking you had been just about everywhere LOL. Yeah it is a great picnic site and the shire have been very kind in making the RV stop over a year round thing now. They also have one at Preston beach I think.

Nice. I was there today. I bought a house in Waroona for my retirement - close enough to Perth for my kids, far enough away for my sanity. Move in November.
