Drakkar Noir - Fragrance Review

I’m 27 and this is my signature scent. I don’t worry about compliments wearing this because I know it smells good. Kind of the scent of confidence, sports, formal, date, fresh out the shower, all in one. I’ve tried hundreds of colognes and this is my favorite under $50 for 6.7. I wear ysl y edp and profondo on special occasions and dates. Drakkar noir is my formal too. It’s perfect. I love it. The opening is a lil rough and also you have to let it macerate for a week. The temperature affects the smell and performance as well although I wear it in the summer. This really does smell better to me in the cooler months, even though it still smells great in the summer. The first sprays out of some colognes are off because the juice in the straw held onto the new and didn’t get to sit in the volume. I usually let my colognes sit in a cool dark place no matter the color of the bottle just to get it right. After transport it gets shaken up and sometimes too hot but that’s reservable if not boiled. This is one of those colognes that is easily changed because of the extreme amount of notes. Has to be perfect and sit still for sometime. Be careful on how many times and how fast you pick it up in a short amount of time. It’s like marinating a steak. Also because of the amount of notes, this smells different to people than you. I get a sports powder smell from it (which I absolutely love) Good review. Glad it grew on you. Subbed 👍

Thank you! I appreciate the input. I agree that this fragrance definitely correlates with the users confidence. It is a bolder sent so the user needs to be sure in themself to pull it off. I also have YSL Y EDP. Great fragrance! I need to get my hands on profondo. I hear it’s one of the better ones from the line up. Drakkar Noir comes off a little powdery to you? That’s interesting. Happens, the first two sprays of most cheap colognes are probably just some type of stabilizer or something they put inside the little tube to keep the juice fresh, but then you flush that out, and the actual juice comes in...now it's business lol This is what i spray on after showering from being in the pool (this and Nautica Blue) it's really really nice for the dirt cheap price imo.
