Then it is only "other income" exceeding 8 lakhs/year will debar NCL benefit and wealth tax provision will have no impact. But in UP there format still have reference to wealth tax. Kindly clarify.

If ur mother belongs to group c or b group or equivalent and ur father is business man having income 3 lac as u mention then ur are eligible for OBC ncl Because at this situation clause 6is applicable on it father income only means income not more than 8lac(ur father income is 3 lac) so I r OBC ncl and in this situation ur mother income is not considered according to dopt 1993

Pradhan ji, as far as I know, income ceiling does not apply to employees in group C and below. More, salaryand agricultural income is not counted for calculating 8 lakh. So, your children are verymuch entitled for NCL. Best wishes
