They don't play around out here, even if the person who is being abused doesn't press charges the state will if there is evidence; like her face. I would rather have a paper trail than none at all. I would build a case and get a restraining order and protection. That way if I have to use lethal force to protect myself it would be documented that I took preventative measures. It would make more sense if she did all of that before coming to the internet. All we can do is sympathize and/or criticize, and maybe a few may report him, but if she is going to lie and cover for him they probably won't do anything.

I agree with Erica, I was in a 6 year relationship with my ex after we got over anger and the hurt with happened in our relationship we became friends again. We went on vacation to Thailand, he became my mentor for medical school and I was at his engagement party. You can be friends with your ex without having to sleep with them. Black people do better. Unless that person mentally or physically abused you should try being amicable especially if you are in the same career field.

@@2zs602 his engagement party yes, looks like you have terrible taste in men so you can’t think of doing the same. I have an amazing circle of friends who knew him that also attended their party so I don’t believe I need new friends beloved. There’s a small amount of black people that’s in stem or in the medical field so we stick together and rarely have issues with one another. Teenage and early 20s feelings doesn’t mean I need to make an enemy out of someone that’s a genuine person. Be bless beloved and I hope you find happiness.

i dont hold grudges but going on vacation with yo ex is crazy. that dont concern the kid at all

My best friend is no longer with her baby daddy but they spend holidays and yes go on vacation together. Even with his current wife as well. Their daughter is grown and at this point they are family.
