I always love your "subtle" ways of "BUY MY BOOKS". My daughter is 7 (who is currently beating leukemia) and always wants to cosplay for Halloween/Comicons/Renfest as villains, usually the men, and only changes her mind because they are for boys since they are boys. I always tell her "Says who? There no rule that says boys can't play girl and girls can't play boys" So now we're working on her Joker costume for RenFest Heroes and Villains weekend here in Texas. She loves watching your videos, she's loves how "animated" you are.

Please let your daughter know that there is something called "cross-play," which is cosplaying as the opposite gender. Find Alyson Tabitha here on KZbin and show your daughter some of her amazing work - she completely *becomes* the Joker (Heath Ledger) or Captain Jack Sparrow. Your daughter can also do a feminine version of her favorite male villain.

👍🥰 I cosplayed for the first time this year; as a mum supervising my son while he cosplayed I got fed up of sitting on the side line and not joining in. Fighting against 'the change' and thyroid I tried desperately to loose some weight (over a year), and although I lost nearly 2 stone, it wasn't my goal and I felt deflated and self conscious... however, not to be deterred I switched to a different favourite character and had heaps of fun doing research and making my own outfit, just as I had so much fun and quality time making my son's more elaborate outfit. At the convention I still spent most my time holding my son's bags and getting out of the way so people could take photos of my son, and I didn't mind at all, in fact I was so proud of my son cause having a social disability, cosplay has given him a confidence and social skills I've never seen in him before 😭 .. definitely worth all those hours, weeks of work and eating on laps cause the dinner table turned into a crafting corner 🙈. However, there were a handful of times when I stood to one side for someone to take a photo and they said "No, I want a photo of you! I love this character and you look so beautiful..", .. I could have cried,.. such kindness from strangers, it was so beautiful. I urge anybody to put their doubts, lack of confidence, or disbelief to one side, and just give it a go. My son and I knew nothing about how to make costumes, we learnt from scratch, made alot of mistakes, laughed a lot at mishaped makings, .. but had a blast through the whole process 👍💪😁

Always remember that cosplay isn't a lookalike contest. If someone gives you crap for not being the right weight/height/race, that person clearly has no idea what cosplay actually is, and is just so absorbed in their waifus that they've grown to hate how real people look.

If they really wanna stick to their own gender and height, then good for them, but they can't tell you to do the same just because that's what they believe in. Cosplay is just a hobby, and some stranger on the internet can't tell you how you can and cannot enjoy your hobby. All things physical are completely out of your control. It's essentially discrimination since more than 95% of characters from anime (or any media really) are thin and fit white people. Seriously, you do you. Cosplay who you love and it will make you happy.

This is such a valid point. I went to my first Con this year as Missandei from GoT 1)because she's one of my faves and 2)She was one of the few black female characters I could think of at the last minute. Staying within the race/color/gender/size/height of a character you love is almost impossible for huge groups of people so eventually you're gonna have to stop caring and work outside of that. I already know there will be some comments on a thick black girl doing Shigaraki but they can kick rocks barefoot 🤷🏾♀️ Do it A N Y W A Y.

He tends to discourage people unless they are serious about practicing three hours a day so you can walk without injouring yourself. He then says to add a little weight at a time until you can get used to making the adjustments to walking with additional weight

As a former machine designer and haunt enthusiast, I can see where they do things in video games that are just not practical or even build-able as a real life costume piece, or where details that would be downplayed on a computer or tv screen now need to be fleshed out for a life-size version. I think her pieces are as accurate as they can and should be. Most men do not have the body type to play both Conan the Barbarian AND Homer Simpson... so we settle for Homer Simpson... lol

I've been dealing with trolls since the early 2000s, when I became a board admin for a TV Show fandom. I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning when dealing with trolls. I felt obligated to protect the members of the boards I was an admin of, and I chased the trolls from board to board trying to run them off. I pretty much became a troll of trolls, and although I regret the actions I took in the beginning, I appreciate the lessons I learned along the way. And I try to share what I've learned with others, so that they don't make the same mistakes I made in the beginning. I learned the best way to deal with trolls is to ignore them, and to delete their existence if I have the power to do so. And if I don't have the power to do so, I just pretend they aren't there, and have no interaction with them in any way. I learned that some of the trolls were respected members of the boards where I was either a staff member, or just a regular member of. Some were even staff members. So, when I see others engaging with the trolls, having flame wars, I don't get involved, because it could just be the one person with sock puppet accounts. I even found out that a couple of the trolls were cast members of the TV show the board/s were a fan base of. So, ignoring trolls is the best option there is. Deleting their posts and membership/s when/if you can works too. And it's always best not to get in the middle of any flame wars. You never know if both sides are the same person or group of people. And you never know if a celebrity or cast member is behind the trolling. Life is too short to waste on these a-holes. Spend your time with the fan base, and leave the rest to destroy itself.

I made some GOT eggs as a gift for a friend and they loved it. I posted my process online and it was fun answering questions about the build and getting new ideas on how to make future builds better and people showed their versions of it. it was all good fun. A few comments said they looked bad, but I had fun commenting with positively. Sure the thing I do isn't loved by everyone, but if I can generate conversation over making things yourself that's the best part!

I have always been my own worst critic. So if someone points out a flaw in my work in a negative way I usually respond with "for every flaw you point out I can see 10 I hate more." if they have an issue with my appearance (i.e. I'm too skinny/not buff enough to play that character) I just move on. Those are the people who don't get why I do cosplay so their opinion matters less than 0.

@@KamuiCosplay it absolutely is, and even if I can see the flaws I am still proud to have worked so hard and made something. I try to channel my self doubt/overly critical thoughts into something positive - like reflecting on all the ways I have improved or thinking of better ways to do things so I don't make the same mistakes. It took me a long time to learn that and it isn't easy when there are others trying to tear you down from the outside. I guess my point was simply it doesn't bother me when others say negative things about my work because I am harder on myself than they are and all it does is make me want to get better. Not for them but for myself :) sorry this turned into such a ramble but... I love you guys! and every cosplayer keep up the great work! I love seeing each and every costume. with love and foam, Will

I appreciate how much thought goes into videos like this one and the "getting into shape" video. I know it's not always easy to put things in a way that is mature and optimistic and unbiased and I think its really impressive as a content creator that Kamui does such a good job. But then I think some people see that and think well-known people on the internet are immune to criticism. But no! They are still human and put a part of themselves into the art that they create and it's still hurtful to get a nonconstructive comment. I know that sometimes when people are feeling down you want to just take it out on someone or something but it's so sad to lash out at people who are so passionate. Love your work

Mean comment: Hey! I think you smell. ( Hi Benny! ) Seriously though.... There will always be people who think they can do better. Build it better, wear it better, paint it better. Let's see them do it. I've made props and display pieces before. I don't show them too often. But generally I get positive feedback. Sometimes you get negative feedback. "That's the wrong colour. There's a detail missing... " but as you said. With hours and hours spent making these parts. Be happy in your own work and don't rely on the validation of others for your own happiness. If you make it and you are happy with it then that is all the validation you need.

I appreciate that you bring up other cultures in this!😊 for example: I see people who will claim that other cosplayers are racist and sending them hate because they're darkening their skin etc. And while I understand that some countries and cultures will have an issue with these things, I always try to tell people that what's an issue in your country isn't neccesarily an issue in another country and that these people aren't neccesarily racist(or insert other bad things), they may just come from a different country that don't have that same history as your country. Basically, don't expect people to understand your side of things if you're not even going to try and understand the other people's side. Meaning, don't go straight to drama or hate just because something doesn't sit right with you. Just try to play nice you know? Although assholes exists everywhere, most people do cosplay with the intent of honoring the character, it's very unlikely that they're doing it to hurt or mock people. Just keep this in the back of your head for the next time you see someone doing something that doesn't sit right with you.

@@Grymreaper not saying that. Just saying that instead of sending hate, stirring up drama or just assuming people are being assholes, just try to keep in mind that not everyone are being assholes. Maybe it's just not in their minds at all that they're doing something wrong. But also, just because one nation think of something as an issue, why does that automatically mean that it should be forced as an issue everywhere? If everyone got along before this, why make an issue of it? Now think about it; say you suddenly got told that wearing blue eyeshadow was offensive for whatever reason and you previously had never even heard of it before that day you decided to wear it. Then you do research and find out it is an issue in one country but where you currently live there are no one who has ever mentioned it being an issue. Does that mean you should just stop wearing blue eyeshadow forever? Look, this is a complex topic. All I'm saying is that we should try to give mutual respect. If I find something offensive and I tell you that, I expect you to listen to me, but I will also listen to your side of things. Who knows, maybe I just get a new persective on things? I feel line that's better than saying "WHAT YOU'RE DOING IS WRONG! END OF DISCUSSION!".

That's true, but just because you did not intend to hurt or offend someone, doesn't mean that they were not hurt. There are numerous cultural things that can be done on accident, but willfully painting yourself to look black, and then telling people you are allowed to do it because you are not racist and your people were not involved is not okay. No one modern culture is free of racism, so working as a whole not to portray it is the approach people should take. If racism wasn't at the forefront of things, then I could understand. But the issue is not dead, it is still alive and well in my country so it still matters. I don't believe in taking the china approach, but I do believe people should be considerate of other cultures, and other people.

@@Grymreaper but here's the thing though. Most people agree that blackface isn't okay. Most people look at those old televison program's blackfaces and think it's offensive as hell. Where people seems to disagree is wether or not cosplay makeup is considered blackface. I don't blame people for looking at those as two separate things. I mean, when you look at the two side by side I can agree with people when they don't see the connection at all. And I don't think that makes them bad people. Again, cultural background plays a role. The problem I have with this, is when a country that never had this (or any other) issue suddenly gets this mindset "forced" on them, then it suddenly becomes an issue. Example: when I was a kid, my sister needed glasses. When my sister was out getting them, my mom pulled me aside and told me "now, when your sister comes home, don't call her stuff like four-eyes and so on". Now, I had never even heard that expression before nor haf I ever considered making fun of people with glasses. So my sister comes home and guess what? First thing I say is "four eyes!" To which my sister got upset. Summary: mom thought she was doing the right thing to protect my sister, but instead she basically put the idea of mocking people with glasses in my head. This is kind of how I'm looking at this cultural stuff. Darkening skin with makeup and other stuff may not be an issue in some countries...until we make it so. If you get my point. I know we disagree on some stuff, but atleast we agree on blackface being offensive.

It's so important to not focus on just one bad comment! While wearing my first handmade cosplay, while only close friend have seen it, I was walking very early in a day in a convention and hear "Ish, creepy..." It was a Sailor Moon cosplay, all in yarn, crocheted, noting to be afraid or creepy about. I almost wanted to turn back in my hotel room, remove everything and cry. I'm glad I didn't do it, since I was already register for the mascarade. I won for the craftmanship and presentation for that costume.

Another idea for a non-crafting video is perhaps talking about cosplay commissions? (Making/selling cosplay & props and how to gauge the prices or whatever) Not sure if you actually *do* that, but if you have any experience in it I'm sure there are some in the community that could benefit from good advice or stories of experience :)

Its art. All this is art. So people are free to create what they wish and people are free to like or not like what they wish. Knowing how hard it is to pull off this stuff, no matter what it ends up looking like, I am just happy to see more art being created. Go for it. People, I think, do art for the "doing" part not the finished part. For me its kinda sad to finish a costume since its the end of the process. Keep on expanding your creative brains!

Giving more info actually works a lot! For example once an other cosplayer asked me how many hours I spent on a OC, and said to me that 150h was a lot for just "a top, hooves, furr, tail and antlers", but then I explained thaht 60h were spent on hand embroidering the top and a belt with celtic motives. After that, he understood why it took me so long :D Plus he complimented me on my embroidery, so yeah, giving information allows to compare what can be compared :)

I enjoy watching your video clips, they are awesome as. i really enjoy watching you put them all together from the start. I live in Victoria Australia, i am 55 years old and i still enjoy doing crafting things. i am slowly building up electronic bits and pieces so i can start and do some arduino projects. one i really want to do is an 8x8x8 cube with led's. they use just one color (green) in the clip but, i am going to try it with the rgb led's. then there is a 16x16x16 cube i would love to do. Its all the code that baffles me, i have no idea at all on how i would do it. Keep up the awesome work you do, that way i will have something enjoyable to watch on youtube, thankyou. Another thing, question, i would love to see one of your own designs, something you have came up with from your own brain, not something that is already in a game or in a me. i think you would be able to do it easy peasy. I mean isnt that the whole idea of being creative. Something including light up parts as i love led work in a costume, they bring it to life.

I was a receptionist at a bowling club (Australia) for 13 years. I was asked how I could stand being one because of negative & nasty people that come in. I replied that for every ill-mannered person, there are at least 10 who make your day. I find this in cosplay as well. You don't let the nasties get you down. Long live Cosplay!

Ganz Ehrlich...Ich hab Kamui vor vielen vielen Jahren auf der FFM Buchmesser getroffen und trug ein seeeeeeeeehr schlecht gemachtes Cosplay (Ice Mage von Nostale). Meine Waffe (ein Eiststab) damals bestand aus blauem Pappmasche und Strohalmen. Ich war soooo stolz darauf, weil es meine erste Waffe war, die ich jemals gebaut hatte. Kamui trug ein Cosplay, an dessen Namen ich mich leider nicht erinnere, aber ich weis, dass sie einen Stab mit einem kristall auf der Spitze dabei hatte, der aus Plexiglas geformt war und sogar LED's zum erleuchten eingearbeitet hatte. Damals war das keine selbstverständlcihkeit sowas in seiner Waffe zu haben. Ich weis noch wie wir darüber geredet haben, dass ich auch gerne Plexiglas für meinen Eisstab benutzt hätte und wie Kamui mir erzählt hat wie aufwendig und kompliziert ihr eigener Stab war. Sie gab mir viele Tipps und Tricks damals. Zudem war sie super nett und aufmunternd zu mir und hat mich für mein Cosplay sogar gelobt, obwohl ich im Vergleich zu ihr wirklich..SCHLECHT aussah (meiner Meinung nach). Und als ich eben im Video gehört hab, dass sie meist für die 'negativen' Antworten auf Twitter/Facebook verantwortlich ist, musste ich etwas lachen. Ich weis, dass es bei dem Kommentaren nicht um 'Beurteilungen' ging, sondern Reaktionen, aber es hat mich sehr daran erinnert. Konnte ich mir einfach im Zusammenhang mit meiner Geschichte nicht vorstellen. Finde es übrigens ganz nett auch mal so 'real Talks' von dir auf YT zu sehen, macht genau so viel Spaß wie die anderen Videos zu schauen. ;)

You're right. Those who don't know what the entire work of a prop or a whole costume is about, appreciate it much less. I respect your work and being so much more because you focus a lot on the crafting itself instead of just posting a bunch of sexy pics without any context. Pics can be nice and all, but there are so many women on the internet already selling their bodies. Showing the crafting makes it better to see cosplay as a true creative passion instead of selling something sexual only.

Personally, the moment when I "left" the cosplay community, is when I had to study and don't have the time to cosplay anymore, and when I was in convention, the cosplayers just...ignored me just because I wasn't cosplayed. But not a "sorry I didn't see you" ignoring, more like "sorry girl you can't talk to us, we are cosplayers and you are not, go play with the kids" ignoring, with the eyes looking away. I found it so childish that it made me angry. And now that I'm calm, people expecting your first costume to be perfect, because the "big cosplayers" do perfect job. Thank you kamui. There is a cosplayer in my country who hates me and she is always comparing my work (which is like beginners) with living out cosplayers work saying things like "this a real cosplay, others are fucked up" which is clarely for me because she compares just works i've made. Last month I made a nergigante cosplay following all your tutorials. And she is still comparing that work. Her coments always makes me feel horrible, and there are nights i cry just because i don't know how to deal with her comments and her hate. But i will try to pass it away.

I’m not a pro when it comes to this but have you tried talking to this person and asking for the reason for her grudge? Not aggressively but nicely (even of its hard)? Like saying, hey I love your work and I just want to be friends but I don’t know what I did to you or what I said to upset you. Then they usually feel bad for being a jerk.

@@KamuiCosplay i've tried so many times to talk with her by DM, but she just blocked me from every social media I messaged her. I gave up months ago. But she just keeps doing it. We have friends in common whom advertised her to did this, because it will ruin her reputation. Now she hates me more becase our friends supports me

I think an important element of your success is that from time to time you show the true version of yourself as opposed to your fantasy "perfect" version. It helps for regular people to see that they can also be a fantasy figure as well. It was always smoke and mirrors. Truly wonderful work and a great presentation.

Ah Kamui, I love you guys so much! 💜💜💜 You're so right. Anyway, they're always a way to leave constructive criticism that can help the cosplayer in a future work. In fact, not a criticism, but an advice. If your critic don't bring anyting good, it's probably a troll. Don't do it. This last cosplay drama was such a big misunderstanding at my opinion, that girl didn't mean it bad. She cosplayed a caracter that she love so much, it was ceartainly not to laught about it. But anyway, I'm not in this community who can be offenced by it, so there is probably something I can't understand.

I really love this and would like to add something to all of this! Im not sure if anybody else in the comments mentioned this (if so, apologies in advance for being a broken record), but Ali Spagnola is working on a song/ music video for dealing with internet hate. Her idea is to make a really positive song that is so incredibly catchy! That easy when you start reading ther internet hate, the song earworms it's way to you and you just start bopping to the song! Keep on keeping on! Love your work and I adore Zelda and Midna! :3

I love that on top of doing amazing tutorials you also share wisdom on keeping positive and looking at things with perspective. I'm definitely sharing this with one of my friends, she is really self-conscious with her weight and keeps beating herself up with negative comments. I hope she realizes that even cosplay legends get mean feedback sometimes. You guys rock!

I wish I could have friends like you around me that realize all the work done when you make a costume, realize a vid, a how to vid, a thing with a 3d pinter, learn moves on a fight scene or how to utilize softs like photoshop, lightroom, fusion360, hitfilm, passing time consuming energy trying to find how to make this special costume piece with this special color or texture, find materials and technics...generally all I have is people doing sports and watching tv series, never make a thing with their hands, so likes are few. Anyway, having positives people like you, enjoy my day and the most important thing is to be proud and happy of what we are, whatever we are, we are awesome , and never give a sh.. to people that dislike just for fun. (special mention to your german accent that I love because I understand all (and probably I have almost the same because I'm french :-D ). my tip when I see a bad comment: scroll! :-D

I am a Diablo player who doesn't do cosplay and just watch your videos because I find you fun and entertaining. And I find you Diablo Barbarian cosplay photoshoot totally awesome. It is based on the concept art obviously and not on the actual in game character, and it is completely on spot. I recognized it at once when I saw it for a split second in another of your videos for the first time. Keep up the good work!

Você se equipa com as principais características do seu personagem escolhido, mas seu corpo é a sua base. Independente de como sua base está, vista-se, brinque, tire fotos... Divirta-se! My cosplay name is Fat She-Ra because I am a plus-sized cosplayer. I haven't called myself "Fat" to be derogatory- it's an homage to Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect, and She-Ra. As yet, I haven't had any negative comments, and more to do with how I shouldn't put myself down with the "fat" tag. I couldn't care less if you made the costume or bought it. If you're wearing it and having lots of enjoyment, then that's what matters. Stay strong my fellow cosplayers. 💖💖💖💖

Trolls muss man absolut ignorieren, denn ihr Ziel ist es ja gerade, Reaktionen zu generieren. Es ist natürlich super schwierig, wenn jemand etwas sagt, was ganz klar verachtenswert ist. Das ist aber der Mechanismus, dem man widerstehen muss. Nicht antworten, nicht reagieren, auch nicht mit dem "wütend Smiley". Dann wendet sich der Troll hoffentlich anderen Kanälen zu, wo er oder sie mehr Reaktionen bekommt. Danke für das Video, ich hoffe, dem Daumen geht es bald besser … 😃😘🤓

I've been pretty fortunate that online cosplay drama doesn't effect me, no one knows who I am as a cosplayer LOL. But at a few conventions that I've worked at doing panels, as occasional guest, or a competitor I've been informed by "well meaning" people someone or another was saying unflattering things about me. I told them that I really wasn't interested in hear that sort of stuff. I was having fun and wans't preventing anyone else from doing that too.

I really enjoy your channel and the tutorials. I love most your energy and enthusiasm around cosplay. You have a great on-screen personality. I think you would do well to do "roaming reporter" interviews with cosplayers around the world as you travel, asking them questions about their costumes, inspirations, tips, etc. I think it would be both entertaining and enlightening (and add variety to your already awesome channel). Just a suggestion. ;)

My cosplay account is rather small and when I got my first comment (the first one from someone who wasn’t my friend or knew me in person) I got really excited when the notification popped on my screen but once I opened it my confidence really went down. It was really mean comment about my wig, that it looked poor. The wig actually has a really good quality and cost 50€ but I am aware that you could tell it is a wig as I’m not as skilled as an adult with making them appear natural but I tried my best. I’m 15, it’s impossible for me to buy the most expensive things so I go through my closet first and I don’t have the time die to school. That’s what people don’t consider when criticizing. I ended up deleting the comment without responding because I didn’t want such negativity on my page. Criticism is fine as long as it’s constructive and not hateful or mean, I’m thankful for any feedback I get. But I don’t get any.. not even a single comment on a single post so I never know what I could improve within my opportunities.

ich finde das Thema sehr wichtig. Drama im Internet finde ich persönlich nicht so schlimm als wie die Cosplayer untereinander mit sich umgehen. Um weiter hin Spaß zu haben, beim Cosplay, musste ich mich von Personen trennen. Diese zogen mich mit Ihren negativen Gedanken und Läster Attacken runter.(z.b. "vertraue XY nicht") So hab ich leider erst spät nette Leute treffen können. Die am ende total nett wahren und nicht zickig wie beschreiben. Das finde ich zur zeit sehr schlimm in Deutschland. Auch hab ich Personen getroffen die sich nicht trauten mich an zusprechen weil ich angeblich so und so bin. Das so schade.

This drama got out of proportions over the years, nowadays you have to be oversensitive about everything (especially with the new: "why is this a man or a woman? and not a diverse XYZ-gender... color, race, alien, robot, whatever thingy").... BECAUSE it's a fictional cosplay performed by a normal human, not a computer program/CGI, also it's called entertainment and not some politicians/lobbies making life changing decisions for the whole world! It's becoming tiring and exhausting, but most people forget that a single crying kid in a crowded room can make so much noise and create so much attention, that every other kid starts to think that it represents a serious major opinion/concern, while in fact the others just start to parrot this opinion, including their parents/friends, just to get the noise down to a used level 🙈 Anyway, it was fun to watch your "anime like emotions" and "meme quotes" from the usual internet "critics" about this topic. Looking forward to your next cosplay project or tutorials, which inspires others to become involved into the gaming/cosplay scene productively.

Every year around Halloween I take part in an online costume contest (except this year, because it's been postponed until next year). The host site was created for women who are sick of the "sexy" costumes (Sexy Freddy Krueger? Sexy hamburger??) and want something they can be comfortable wearing and be proud of making (she gives tips on how to put the costumes together without having to know how to sew). Two years ago I did Razia Sultan, and I was actually afraid to share the costume on my own Facebook page, because I was worried someone would take offense to me dressed up as an Indian ruler.

My solution for the cosplay drama is simple: just get out of any group in any platform where people only insult each other and stay where people are kind and quiet. If it's comments under an instagram post, just try to understand if it's a constructive comment or just an insult from a peson who felt like writing something bad. In the second case, just ignore it and try not to reply. UNFORTUNATELY I had to deal with something worst than cosplay drama. I cosplayed a couple of characters from a little game, whose fandom grew to massive dimensions when the game became popular. The fandom and its followers became complitely sick (I swear, it's still disgusting) and consequently they gave the game istelf a terrible reputation, so all those normal people who genuinely liked it just decided to abandon it, leaving it in the hands of those badly obsessed with it. SO, just because I cosplayed those characters I found myself on Instagram dealing in the DMs with these psychopats (usually very young teenagers ...and unfortunately, even with very, very strange adults, who were quite disturbing) who wrote me the weirdest messages, some of them didn't even make sense at all, but were related (obsessively) to that ganme. Because of this, it happened to me that I had very bad days, it was a nightmare and one day I began blocking them straight away, and I solved it :) I would like to understand if anyone else had this problem :(

Also, it doesn't matter what you cosplay as, there will be people who just don't understand or care about your passion. You can be an original character, a character based off something, or try to replicate something 100%, and there will just be people who hate seeing creativity. I get a ton of flak on reddit for taking artistic liberty, but I just have to move past it and continue being happy with my work. Don't let haters keep you down!

I worked as a receptionist at a club. For every awful customer there are 9 more who brighten your day. Don't let the negative people get you down, that is their objective. Don't give them the satisfaction. Don't reply to them either. A hardest thing to talk to is a closed door.

Hi! I’ve been working with Dead By Daylight’s The Legion (multiple characters) and I’ve uploaded some pictures on Facebook’s and I’ve got all kinds of comments. XD positive always! The most critique I’ve had is on the blood color and shape of a mask. 😂 It’s my first! Let me be! Demons. Hahaha

Sharing screenshots of negative comments can be a great tool for including your fans into the conversation and getting even more support. Overall it can be used as an additional activity for the followers creating even better bound with them. Of course, you should not do it if you don't feel like it, but I would not say strictly NO to this kind of practice.

Sometimes I wonder if I am a “bad” Cosplayer, cause in all those years of cosplaying, I never got any bad feedback that was uncalled for. On the contrary my friends often get stupid feedback of others inside the Cos-community. But hey, somehow I am quite happy about it that they leave me along and yet I wonder what I’m doing wrong 🤣 Maybe I’m just too ugly or to fat to be looked at. Could also be a possibility... Thanks to Svetlana - and Benny of course - for this cool Vid. It was very interesting ☺️
