I HAVE A FUNNY FEELING THAT IF THE SHOE WAS SWITCHED AND IT WAS HIS WIFE WHO CHEATED IN THE MARRIAGE- EVERY 'SAINT' IN HIS CHURCH WOULD BE YELLING: 'SLUT, THAT WHORE' THAT JEZEBEL' HOW COULD SHE HURT THE "MAN OF GOD" LIKE THAT?!!!! SHE WOULDN'T LIVE IT DOWN. SO WHY SHOULD HE? So, when MEN tell others to just 'lay off' Pastor Bryant b/c he apologized for his wrong- then I have just one thing to say to that.....would you MEN lay-off his wife if she was the one who was wayward. Nope! You would encourage him to get divorced and use a scripture like: "Remember when the king divorced Vansti and married Ester. Pastor Bryant man, leave that hoe and go find your queen Ester". Oh, yeah, his poor wife would be called a 'hoe' from every corner of the church, esp. the deacon and ministerial board. That's what would be said against his poor wife if she were the perpetrator in this story. So, like I say.....women get no slack, however he does b/c he's a man. And of course, he's apologizing- he's on camera. He's in the spotlight. But what about the many times he came home from whoring and showered, slid into bed beside his 'hurting' wife, and never said 'I'm sorry baby, I'll stop". But, b/c the camera's rolling and public' media has placed his infidelity on display, now he's repentant. Basically, b/c he has to. Politically speaking, repenting is just the' right' thing to do since everybody's watching!

Roosevelt Pope Aw, that's good Mr.Pope...you got SOMETHING out of my post (angry and bitter). Well, at least you're partly on track. Now, let's work with those two words shall we. Yep, I'm angry b/c men are handled/treated much different from women in the church. Men have a lot more linency.; women don't. I'm bitter b/c NO ONE cares do change that. Everybody just goes along with that program. One church I attended, the pastor was HIGHLY esteemed and 'anointed'. Well, one day he disfellowshipped a young lady b/c she was pregnant w/no husband. She left the church. Years later, it came out- HE was the father and he sent her away before she could have the baby and the church see some resemblance. However, looking back, when he disfellowshipped her- MOST of the church 'gawked' at her and avoided her- siting her as 'unsaved' and 'hypocrite'. But, when some found that it was the pastor- they just shook their heads, but remained loyal to that church. (We subscribe to the saying: 'Well, he's a man-he has NEEDS- but a woman doesn't get any 'EXCUSES'--instead, she's just a sneaky, unsaved, hypocritical whore in the church. Seen this type of thing often throughout the years, so now you tell me- wouldn't you be bitter or angry if you were a woman and see men go unpunished and 'EXCUSED'in many, many churches and the woman gets STONED.

How many hours a day or week was he praying, after talking a lot the holy spirit gets very weakened. A prayer must be held alone with God after church service, It sounds VERY TECHNICAL AND IT ALMOST IS. That is the way the holy spirit works, because flesh pumps it out by time and actions especially TALKING. Prayer is the basis of anything in Christian life. I still remember 40 day pray and fast by a woman, who was praying for a husband, and guess what, she found one and never has been happier in her lifetime. Holy spirit can join two people, but you gotta keep praying, so the holy spirit keeps that connection between you too. Prayer is the basics. BACK2BASICS!

Let's admit that you had several extramarital affairs, including with an underage or barely of age parishioner, while at the same time your wife was pregnant with your twins. This girl was pregnant while your wife was pregnant. And then multiple affairs after the marriage. How do we expect to pastor families when you don't indeed prioritize your own family? Steps of accountability were missed. Sabbatical timing of a year was needed. But being in love with money and power, it was decided to press forward and forget about the importance of making the family whole. I hope that the crucial timing missed has not forever stunted the potential growth of your family and ministry. You must say I an sorry, apologize to your wife, the congregation and cyber congregation for your wrongs, in order to move forward. Then get the necessary individual and family therapy/counseling. I judge you NOT, because we have all sinned, but let's be truthful about our shortcomings, so that we can gain full deliverance and restoration. Said with love, my brother. Forever and always praying for you and your family!

Disgusting. People who cheat lack critical thinking skills and are disloyal. Disloyal people are not to be trusted. Disloyal people are not fit to lead and preach out of a Bible that he himself doesn't even try to practice in his own life. He is a pastor who doesn't value and obey the sanctity of God and marriage, he is a hypocrite. He's fathered a child while he and his wife tried to reconcile, with a woman in his congregation. He's slept with many of the women in his church. No self control or decency, he is not fit to be a pastor of anything. How can you so called lead people to righteousness when you won't do right?

Ya know folks. We in the black community put up with far too much. We dont hold our "leadership" to biblical account. Jamal should not be a pastor at any churh anywhere in the world. Yes he made mistakes and if he earnestly asked God to forgive him, God has forgiven him. However, the bible is full of examples of people who were forgiven for their sins, but simultaneously, disqualified. Moses hir the rock and this disqualified him from entering the promised land. David earnestly asked God to forgive him for the sins he committed against Bathsheba and Uria but these actions along with his his of war disqualified him from building God's temple. Jamal's behaviors have disqualified him from being a pastor

Please he knew before he got married that he was not over women! Society gives men to many excuses to ruin other peoples lives. You know in you heart who you serve. You know in your heart if you are really ready to settle down or not. Why get married and you still wanna be a dog? oh I never thought my wife would leave. Why not? he was that full of himself at that time, that he felt he could get away with murder!! Pastors this is a wake up call that you can not play with Gods word. You can not play with Gods church. Step down!!

using big words does not make you smart. or knowing of the Word of God. When someone is making excuses or pointing the blame on someone else for their mistakes that says enough on its own. You should ask for the spirit of discernment instead of seeking out others to attack to fulfill your spiritual needs. This is why there are so many of us who are lost in this world. Being mislead by others who use the word of totally against the spirit. If you had forgiveness, restoration, most important love..you would have not sought me out to attack. Thats all your comment was. Do not comment me again. Thank You. Comment disregarded..oh yeah! God Bless You hun!

If you know the word of God there are so many people that were used by God that made mistakes fell short of His glory but was still used by Him. David one of the greatest kings ever committed adultery.. Impregnated Basheba and was still used by God and is in the lineage of Jesus. No one is perfect or has the right to judge for with the same judgment you put on someone else God will put on you.

Prov 24:16 ..."A righteous man falls seven times and he gets up..." As far as I am concern the wicked sits idly by and talk about them but do nothing about their wicked self. This same text says that the wicked stumble when calamity strikes. Glad you got back up Pastor Bryant! Great example for us! A true leader setting the example! It's all about Almighty God not church people! Similarly, it was church folks who harassed and talked about Jesus and did nothing about their wicked self- righteous ways!

I think him talking about it openly is amazing on his behalf. God still forgives, heals, and transforms his people. Even though his son isn't like yours doesn't mean that he isn't forgiving and it doesn't mean that we can't be forgiven. So many Christians are so critical of others. Where is the love which God has commanded all of us to do.

"God will give him double for his trouble?" Since when does God bless our sin and wickedness? For sure God will forgive, but sin has to take its toll and give its due compensation...heart break, sorrow, spiritual death, etc. With that mentality, its like saying "lets keep sinning so God can keep blessing"-Sorry, ..read the scriptures.

Keep in mind folks. No one is exempt from being tempted by Satan. Not even Christians. Falling into sin has consequences. It's easy to be the judge when you're not in the spotlight for your own mess. But when YOU get caught in your sin, now you wanna be the defense lawyer??? No, we must repent of sins. If Jesus Christ can forgive confessed sins and transform us new by his Holy Spirit then we need to remember his love, grace and mercy when someone else falls into sin. The bible says in Galatians 6:1 "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you who are spiritual, restore such and one in spirit of meekness; consider yourself, as you could also be tempted." Pastor Bryant is no different than anyone. Proverbs 24:16 "For a just man falls 7 times, and rises up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief." People if we fall we must get up and turn back to Jesus Christ.

He is so immature, so weak, and should stay out of ministry and the spotlight for a long time. He should have spoken far LESS, and not about HIMSELF but about the wife and children he betrayed. I can't believe the ignorance of some of the people who have commented. The same mercy you won't extend to another person is that very same mercy that won't be extended to you. Tell me if what he did with that woman on the alter with a half-naked woman is called marriage. Most of you are not married because Jesus attended a wedding conducted Jewish-style; he never attended any christian marriage...he was not even a Christian. His disciples never conducted any marriage that was documented. So what is marriage that's approved in Christianity which is traceable to Jesus or his disciples?
