I love the creativeness of this series. It’s the way they are giving us their love with nuances, with metaphors and symbolisms, it’s the way they use innuendos and a lip balm instead of lube. It’s impressive how well thought out this series is. And with a blackout they showed their first kiss 0:57 and I believe they were showing more the connection Su Yu was feeling 1:13 and how he was literally falling in love and seeing Wu Bi as a man 1:42 how he couldn’t stop staring 2:01 in his own way Wu Bi’s healthy body was his focus and he was feeling it 2:03 it was also shown how much he cares about Wu Bi 5:07 because that’s his boyfriend, there’s no doubt 5:18 and they keep being creative with an indirect kiss 5:32 he’s waking up to the one he loves 6:01 so he kisses him 6:14 as if it was something normal, because it’s between lovers and he’s so happy there 7:03 the colors so symbolic of their love that is warm and I absolutely love how creative was the “I love you”. Su Yu looked at Wu Bi 8:03 then shouted I love you 8:09 and Wu Bi knew it was for him 8:12 8:17 and it’s true that this is the happiest Su Yu has been 8:29 and it’s only Wu Bi that can see this side of him 🥺 *Su Yu added “Sea” after shouting “I love you” and Hai means Sea and you know who Gu Hai is. It was definitely for Wu Bi 😭

Its really well made....they showed the essence of the novel in a lil conservative yet creative way and gave complete justice to it......i love it how their love progress gradually and mutually ❤noone fell first or second and nobody had to wait for other to fall for him........great work......the way they behave kind of secretive about their love even though they never confessed each other they still knew it within their heart.....they way wubia delivers his line and how su yu react to it,,,,,it confuses me sometimes as if may be i missed some of their scenes.......❤❤❤

The fact that they were bringing up the topic about the Military Airforce confirms that we're getting season 2. The plot twist though is that the one who will end up in Airforce is SuYu, not WuBi. Things that were already set in the future changed because of the car accident, and the deal between SuYu and WuBi's father is about to happen.

@@khushimittal6139 In the novel SuYu told WuBi's father that should WuBi fails to fulfill his expectation to his son in terms of having a stable future, SuYu would fulfill it for him just to save Wubi from being disowned by his father. SuYu was willing to sacrifice his future just to make sure WuBi's father won't sever ties to his son. That's why in Season 2 instead of WuBi, SuYu was the one who entered Airforce because after the accident WuBi wanted to do things on his own and not be dictated by anyone, after he was told that SuYu died. While separated for 8 years, WuBi built his own company and SuYu enlisted in Military Airforce. *** But it could be different in this adaptation.

@@khushimittal6139 in the first year after the accident WuBi thought SuYu had died from the car crash as what was told to him. His cousin was the one who told him that, as per the request of SuYu. Pretty much Wubi's cousin was really trying his best to separate them, also responsible as to why the accident happened and gaslighting both of them to stay away from each other. In season 2, he would continue to be a menace to their relationship. At some point WuBi found out that SuYu was still alive but got info that he's living abroad. Truth is SuYu was just in China pursuing his Airforce career. WuBi didn't have the heart to pursue him even if he wanted to, not even SuYu's father, Aunt Zhou or Duo duo. The reason they met again after 8 years was accidental, and from then on, all the feelings that were forcefully detained went back. However, WuBi already has a fiance, a woman who is the current Vice President of his company. But she's not a bad girl. She's not gonna be a hindrance to them being back with each other.

Here's to hoping that from now on, China will release more danmei and baihe adaptations with something JUST A BIT A MORE than bromance/sisterhood. The beauty of Chinese dramas, is that they were able to show true love through nuances, without the need for explicit kisses and 'I love you's, (like The Untamed, Couple of Mirrors, and Word Honour - still the most romantic dramas I've ever seen, and not one kiss); JUST A LIL MORE WOULD BE THE ICING ON THE CAKE

This is really not bromance but bl [but due to their country's restrictions everything was laid conservatively. The sexual tension between them is always present through WuBi's dialogue (and Suyu's action): "He is mine..." "I would spend this money to the most important person..." "I am a slick..." "Given our relationship, I can give you something better than money." The flirting, the gaze... all of these are indirect but like telling us, "this is not just a brotherly love, it's an open secret for us. " Even the weird scenes: The lip balm found on the bed he said, 'thankfully the label is written in english'. 😅 So what it is then? If it's not a lip balm. Not to mention the jealousy: The scene when they are fighting because of the headset--the left trace. Notice the belt of Suyu. It's like Wubi took it off. If the cousin didn't arrive... something might happen. And the cousin seems to know everything... their relationship is not the usual stepbrother love. The moment at the beach, where SuYu shouted, "I love you. Ocean". He stared at Wubi before telling the phrase. It is an indirect confession of his feelings. It is not the Ocean he loves, it's Wubi. Also, who will kiss a brother inside the classroom when the light turned off (black out). It's even a stolen peck. Likewise, who will kiss a sleeping brother inside a tent? It's really a bl, I rest my case. Regardless, I love the plot and the actors.

The part where Suyu Shouted Wo Ai Ni! Da Hai! Da Hai is the name of Wubi Character in Addicted. It is Gu Hai, or Da Hai by his friends. Hai is alse translates to Ocean. So it fits just right
