"A great singer can be found in any genre" - you are so right! And, a singer doesn't have to be as technically proficient as Dimash to be great. As Dimash has said, his octave range is just a "tool" that he has. It's the passion, emotional connection, showmanship, and charisma which make the difference. (and he has those tools as well)

I have listened to many great singers in the world. But I can't think of 1 person who is as versatile and as emotional and as expressive as he is along with the showmanship and the humility that he has. I have never enjoyed opera before. But Dimash integrates opera with other genres and produces music that surpasses everything and touches us deeply!!!! He is a man of his own league. Welcome to the club! Thank you so much for the reaction. Dimash is without a doubt the best singer in the world and will be in New York on 10 December 2019 at the Barclay Centre for a solo concert. He has a 6 octave range with 12 semi-tones, multi-instrumentalist, has been singing since the age of 5 and is classically trained. He is as all his Dears say (he calls his fans Dears) just the best. x

Dimash is 25 years young. He’s been steeped in music from birth. His parents are also musically trained. Mom’s an opera singer. well...you just touched a piece of a mountain :)) DIMASH is quite honestly in a class of his own. He incorporates influences from so many genres/styles and cultures that he is impossible to categorise. He transcends traditional musical norms. His level of professionalism and dedication to his art is incredible. It's easy to forget that he's still only 25, the same age as Justin Beiber, yet displays a sophistication and level of polished performance that is rare in one so young. He has superb confidence, charisma and charm, he's humble and never appears arrogant or insincere. He really is a unique unrivalled talent. If anyone had suggested 20 years ago that a kid from Khazakstan would be an international mega star conquering the world without selling a single CD in America or the UK, the leading pop music markets, it would've been impossible to imagine. The world has changed dramatically over 2 short decades. Music has changed, the rise of KPOP and breaking into US/UK/Europe & all Asian markets is a 21st century phenomenon. That these artists are taken seriously in the US & UK is a significant shift in attitudes. I really believe that Dimash is something new, a truly multi talented, truly international artist like no one before him. He has the potential to become one of the biggest stars of the 21st century.

greetings from Hawaii. I have often heard people who's careers and avocations are tied to music, express a moment of despair after witnessing the vastness of Dimash range, skill, and control. It's understandable. You mentioned that it shows you where you come up short. I can carry a tune but am certainly no singer....not on a professional level. That said, my perspective is not that others are made to be lesser singers. A talented singer is still talented. Dimash is the rarity in that he exists beyond that realm. And I think that uniqueness is borne form the fact that he excels in every aspect of musicality. He composes, he dances, he plays multiple instruments, he sings in many languages, with many styles, and in every range and voice.....and he is great at all of it. Some people have naturally beautiful tone or voice, some have a natural skill with rhythm and syncopation, or for playing instruments...another might have amazing range, and yet another might have great skill and technique, and able to switch voices easily. or might be amazing with emotional interpretation..... adept at giving texture and pace to a song that fits the intent. Most really great singers have more than one of these attributes..and may be better than Dimash in a particular area. But in totality, no one is like him. He simply is the one example, for me at least, of the singer who is superlative in every aspect. So I don't see it as others falling short....I see it as Dimash having taken a step beyond what we thought were the limits. That's why we find him so fascinating.

Welcome to the magic world of Dimash, my dear friend!! As a musician, I can reassure you that, even though this is a trully beautiful love song, it's nowhere near Dimash's most impressive performances. Dimash cannot be contained in one single performance, so I really hope you react more to him. The "best singer" is a very relative term and highly subjective and it goes beyond technical vocal skill, so I'm not going to say Dimash is the best "singer". But Dimash is certainly among the best (if not the best) *vocalists* in the world right now and his artistry is also in top level, as I'm sure you will discover, despite his very young age. If you want some numbers, he can go from an A2 in baritone quality to a full tenor D5 (which is EXTREMELY high for world renowned tenors) and his soprano tone can reach up to a vibrating E6. His whisper can go even higher, the highest registered note in a live concert was recoded to be a D8 and the lowest with vocal fry is an F2. So, yes, 6 octaves are real. But the thing with Dimash is not just his range. It's that he owns every part of the spectrum and he sounds so gorgeous and in full control in every register. There are so many things he is doing so perfect, you will find out as you go. The perfect song to get introduced to Dimash is S.O.S. (go for the performance from Singer 2017, I think it's the version with the best arrangement and emotion, and it's also the performance that catapulted him into popularity in Asia). It's jaw-dropping, to say the least. "I had heard rumors... " I like it! Thank you for react to Dimash's music. For me Dimash is the best singer in the world. Besides this he's an excellent person, very good son, brother, friend. He loves his fans and proves it with his closeness. He's an artist with a university education, is doing his Master in musical composition, is a graduate in classical singing, contemporary music and jazz. Dimas is not a product of marketing, is a young man who has done himself with the unconditional support of his family. He grew up surrounded by music, is talented and has a wonderful voice that he use as another instrument. However, he is a humble person, very hardworking, proud honorary ambassador of his country and culture and very grateful to all the people who work and support him in his career. Boy are you in for a train ride... the amazing Dimash.. YES the best in the world. No one even comes close... and I have a B.A. in Music Composition so I understand music on an organic level.. This man is absolutely amazing. (watched your reaction twice I liked it so much)
