Yeah i agree the previous color have more character in it but a part of the bag was brownish and it didn't look so good. This is a way to change the original and make it a reusable bag

I dont think its enough to wipe this bags with a towel 😅 usually they've never been cleaned before, so what most people do is wash them with leather soap and a brush

You can’t be too rough with lizard because the scales will lift and it can not be repaired to original condition.

This would be possible. However, due to the nature of turning anything lighter than the original shade, more applications of the dye would be required; which in turn would alter the texture of the bag. Colour changing bags to a darker colour allows us to achieve a conservative approach and this is why we recommend this route 👜✨

They don’t paint it, they dye it. The dye penetrates the leather and is permanent.

Leather is a super absorbent material and by utilising dye this will permeate into the leather and will be a permanent colour change ✨

We colour change at the customers request and this particular lady wanted black ☺️ However, whilst we don't encourage people to go lighter it is a possibility, but it would result in a texture change which we like to avoid as we undertake conservative restorations 👜
