@@merrim7765ive been through alot of hurricanes including the eye wall landfall of katrina here in bay st louis MS with 30 ft wall of water that threw cars like bath toys. It takes more wind than that to move a big truck like that. About 140+ the wind can potentially start pushing cars 155+ it can start flipping them. Its amazing the stuff you see stuck on your roof with near 200mph wind gust around you. They lie about katrina the waves broke the local buoys at 40ft so they dont know how high the waves got. The wind gauge broke at 200mph, they down graded the storm saying it was a cat 3. Thats a straight up lie. Ive been in numerous cat 3 hurricanes.

@@silverdandelions1908The worst tornado I’ve personally been through came in the middle of the night/early morning about 3 a.m. so we couldn’t see anything. It made the entire experience so much worse. Plus going from being awoken out of a dead sleep from a huge clap of thunder, to the house shaking like 40 seconds later….Omg 😣. I seriously got nervous when ANY storms were approaching, especially at night, for years after that. I’ve never been through one as bad during the day, but it just feels like if I could see it, plus have the warning & be prepared, that it would lessen how terrifying it was a bit.

And from the end of 2024, the number and scale of natural disasters will increase multiple times. The reason for this is entering the cosmic cycle of 12000 years. If we don't take action now, in 5-7 years it will be impossible to live on the planet. And not later than 2036 there will be a catastrophe, which will turn the Earth into a second Mars. We still have a chance to save the planet and our own lives. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (online forum).

In 2023, the destruction on the planet reached a new level. The world was shaken by devastating and abnormal earthquakes, a huge number of red auroras in unusual places, abnormal heating of the ocean, Category 5 hurricanes, wildfires covering half the planet, rivers and lakes massively disappearing, droughts changing with large-scale floods, volcanoes becoming active. Over the last 30 years, the climate has changed catastrophically. The cause of this is the cosmic cycle of 12000 years. The same changes are happening now on all planets of the solar system. From the end of 2024, the number and scale of natural disasters will increase many times over. And if we do nothing now, it will be impossible to live on the planet in 5-7 years. And not later than 2036 catastrophe will occur, which will turn the Earth into a planet like Mars. We still have a chance to save the planet and humankind. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (online forum).

@cuspryd3rhighly possible it is an F3. This wasn’t a direct hit. The inflow took off a considerable amount of roof and brought in debris from several hundred yards. Tornadoes this erratic tend to have patchy inflows. It’s the whole ‘skipped this house and took out that one’ thing. I have no doubt if the main vortex would’ve hit the home it would’ve been destroyed. This person is either brave, or knew that and decided they stood a better chance out on a newer and well-constructed and/or ground-anchored deck. Or both. He looked like he was vacillating between going inside and staying out. In all honesty, I’d have probably got inside that truck.

I live about 25-30 minutes southwest of Rocky Mount and I am soooo sad for our neighbors😩😩. I am very lucky!! These houses are built out of paper it seems and would break up in a heartbeat!! Oh, and to have a basement in NC is unusual due to us being at sea level😞😞😞
@Mattnoble80
@Mattnoble80 Жыл бұрын
@@wheresmyparade there are building inspections to certain limits against hurricanes and closer to the shore houses are elevated, NC gets them every year. After 1999 when Floyd came and the flood of half of NC did too flood insurance is kind of spotty, however many homes are raised as far in as Wilson but a lot of them are near creeks and rivers. All of the insurance is spotty after so many hurricanes and flood plains extended but to an extent of blowing winds there are specs. Now tornadoes are bursts of wind that are hard to measure an inspection against. Many things get an inspection after partially built to ensure break away joints are present so as long as people evacuate the most vulnerable parts of a home the break away part will separate and not pull the whole house with it. Another of the issues with built homes is we are too close to the water table especially in eastern NC so we can’t build basements, but at least one room without windows is suggested

@@jaylatownsend1007the WORST PLACE to ever be during a tornado! Especially inside a mobile home! You should always get in the bathtub and cover yourself with a mattress. Or get outside, but only if you have enough time to safely, and you get down into the lowest possible place, usually a ditch or culvert! But you don't stand in front of a plate glass window of what is essentially a paper dollhouse in the face of 150-200mph+ winds! Jfc, this isn't rocket science, ffs!

You dontt get anywhere INSIDE a mobile home during a tornado! You GET OUT and go to a solid structure during a tornado warning. That's how people are killed! Even with tie down , 90+mph flips most mobile homes over. Going to an interior room or getting in the bathtub is for stick built well framed houses! This person is incredibly lucky!

@@Og-Judyyou only get out if you have time. You get in the tub and cover with a mattress if you don't have enough time to get out safely. And what you definitely don't do is what this guy did, which is... Don't stand in front of a huge glass window/door in an essentially paper house, during a tornado 🌪️ with winds at least 150mph+!

As someone who grew up and currently lives in Oklahoma, here's some advice. Please get away from the glass windows. If you only have a one story house, get in the center of your house in a closet. Or in a bathroom preferably away from windows. Because the way you are in this storms face, I feel like I need to end this with good luck.

@@NyxTheBlackCatWe get plenty of smaller tornadoes in NC, especially with hurricanes. I recollect Jeanne (I think it was) spawned quite a few, thankfully minor ones, in my hometown. You're right that we don't see the more intense ones often, but the Raleigh area has seen some bad ones, especially with hurricanes.
