I have a wife, three daughters, and three granddaughters. Each of them would never stand for being cut out of any opportunity at their work simply my their gender. One of the most satisfying work relationships I've developed in 36 years in my business (construction) is with a woman who dared to step into a field where there weren't that many women. She's the one I refer clients to when they ask for a reference, for one reason only - she does exceedingly good work, every time. Very few things grind my gears as much as events such as are depicted in this video. I've sent a link to this to all seven of those women who've made my life so wonderful. And, just some advice - should someone address one of these seven women as "sweetie" in that sneering condescending voice it is likely they would be swallowing that resignation letter.
