I was never a waiter or waitress but I did work in fast food. I couldn't tell you how many times I have been cussed out or had food thrown back at me, even had others intimidate me to get free food. I do sympathize with this the most. It's made me more appreciative of those who not only wait tables but delivery people, store clerks, etc. Even when getting my hair cut I felt bad for the girl, not only because she was the only one working, but because she was trying to call in employees for help, while cutting a young kids hair who isn't sitting still and she had a store full of customers. Everyone but me was complaining about slow service. So when it was my turn I gave her pleasant conversation and tipped 50% of the bill to her. You also get so much more in return when you are actually nice about a complaint rather than screaming and yelling. I hope everyone from this channel is safe during this war!
