A woman, who worked as a cleaning lady at an American school, dreamed of her intelligent son attending the elite institution one day. Ironically, the rich woman's daughter ended up failing the entrance exam, but she quickly came up with a cunning plan. Watch this emotional video to find out how the story ended.

Rich Mom was so egotistical, she was willing to cheat so her daughter could get into a prestigious school. I would have told the teacher what her mom did. Not for me, but because cheaters aren't supposed to win.
@DemigodDuke

Sadly, we live in a world where cheaters are allowed to win way too often. But the way i see it is this: Life is a Job, and for what you want most in it, there's a price to be paid for it. Some people pay up front. Some people pay after. When you pay up front, you know what's listed on the tag. If you pay after, well...that tag could read ANYTHING.

Moral(s) of the story: 1. Sometimes the best revenge is no revenge at all. 2. Talent is not dependent on status. 3. Respect everyone, no matter how rich or poor they are. 4. When one door closes, another door opens, so never stop knocking.

This video is a well written episode. This shows that true talent will show itself and be rewarded, as shown by the janitors son being accepted by the state school for gifted children. It also shows that in the end a parent will do anything for their child if they are truly supportive. The mother of the daughter would clean classrooms to make sure her daughter was tutored to be able to pass her exam. True to life, the mother did harm to her child by cheating for her, because she was not ready for the slot in the school that she was awarded. It is only fortunate that the woman's daughter was intelligent enough to grasp what the janitor helped her understand. It is amazing the things worked out in this story. What is amazing is that the writers and I must know the same boy and mother, because I have experienced that the mothers of gifted children that work for a living are as generous in real life as the janitor in this story. This is as I wrote in the beginning, this is a well written episode and is very realistic to life. And it had one of my favorite actors playing the head instructor of the school. Great Episode DramatizeMe!

Exactly. She rather let her son flunk so she can keep her humble persona, then do the right thing for her kid who worked hard to pass that exam. There is a difference between being humble, and being prideful. This woman was prideful, and put her pride before her own kid. That’s sad. I would be pissed if my parents did something like that.

The other underlying message I loved the most in this video is that talent doesn't stop just because you get rejected from a place (even unfairly) and that it is not the end of the world. If you have the talent or the determination to continue working towards your ambitions, you will shine brightly and succeed in another place that will give you a chance as we see with Joan's boy. This is what has always happened to me. But I have zero tolerance for prejudiced and petty-minded people. Being rich doesn't buy class and sophistication.
@DramatizeMe
@DramatizeMe Жыл бұрын
@vinaymulukutla358, we're completely agree with your interpretation of the underlying message in this video. True class and sophistication come from treating others with respect and kindness, regardless of their background or status. Being rich does not automatically make someone classy, and it's important to judge people based on their actions and character, not just their wealth or status.
