Thank you for giving all the details (names etc) and the subtitles are fantastic! 🙏❤️ This is a tough but nuanced story with great acting. Two characters who love deeply despite hurting each other. Grey characters (neither lead is all good or all bad). Both are victims of circumstances, but also perpetrators. The tension was consistent throughout, and I was riveted. 10/10 for me, but it will not appeal to everyone. The actors had me so invested I bawled at the end, but the last screen shot helped- the way her visage turned around and smiled, indicated a "yes" in answer to the ML's voice-over question.

Why did he deserve to have any happy ending? Why should she be willing to be with this vicious man in the next life? What has she done to deserve being stuck with an abuser after finally escaping him? What is your concept of love? Just because the actors look good together does not mean the characters were in love.

​@stephanien6237 (Spoilers Below!) Well, I can see the story from both of their points of view. To be clear, I'm not condoning the actions of either lead, but I can understand the drive behind them. I'll focus on the ML's side since it seems you already empathized well with the FL. She shattered his heart and put him through hell. He even had a line that was something like wanting to 'bring her into hell with him' because he was still feeling tormented by her betrayal of their love. Her metaphorically backstabbing him by giving false testimony and having him sent to jail (where he's almost truly stabbed to death) for a murder he did not commit, was completely unexpected to him. He never knows until near the end of the story that she did it to save her mom. As they start crossing paths again I can see his deep bitterness, but also his growing desperation for her love- to have her show that at least some part of what he thought they once shared was real. The ML is not inherently cruel (the flashbacks show the huge contrast in demeanor), circumstances have influenced him to grow hard, cold, bitter, and ruthless. Throughout the story his inner turmoil is apparent, at least it was to me. His resolve for revenge softens over time despite his hurts. That, his desperation for her to love him back, and his eventual decision to forgive everything, indicates how strongly he feels about her. The FL also continues to hide and then lie about their child (I can understand that she's afraid of the daughter being taken away or being used against her, but I can also see the argument that telling him at some point sooner could have greatly sped up her medical care because the ML could afford it. So covering up the truth for so long technically hurts the daughter as well as the ML, especially since the daughter wants a father and already gets along well with the ML). The FL herself never blames the ML. She's never stopped loving him, but she holds that back and doesn't show it. When the ML agrees to walk away and never see her again, she regrets it and says to herself, "Even if it's hate, I don't want to lose you". Though at that point he doesn't hate her anymore, that's why he lets her go. At the end, it seemed that things were heading in the direction of mending and, had the FL not had a terminal illness, the two of them and their daughter could have healed emotional wounds over time and been able to grow into a happy family. Life was hard for both of them. Some of that instigated by outside forces and circumstances, some through misunderstandings, and some due to their own perceptions, decisions, and actions. I just wished for everybody's suffering to ease. I thought the FL's suicide seemed a bit contrived because it felt out of character, but that's another discussion.

Though it seemed that his aim was to gather intel for vengeance on her father, not her directly (if I interpreted what little was said about it correctly). Part of what I appreciated about this story was that about equal blame could be placed on both characters for the way things turned out. It allowed me to then empathize with both equally. I find the complexity of feeling two contrasting things at the same time quite interesting!

Lalu bagaimana dengan kita orang2 yg hidup di dunia nyata, bahkan kita tidak memiliki orang yang benar2 mencintai kita, kita menangis Karna menonton drama, padahal kehidupan ini jauh lebih menyedihkan. 😭😭😭 sebagian orang mungkin beruntung di karuniai seorang yang mencintai nya tanpa syarat, tapi sebagian lagi tidak merasakan hal itu.
