I have to admit that ML plays the tortured bad boy roles well. As long as he is not too villainous, I’ll watch his dramas, but I’m glad he stopped doing so many of those abusive roles wherein he had no redeeming qualities . This drama was both sad and sweet. He and FL have great chemistry. Bravo to all involved in this production.

I’m posting this to clarify my earlier comment. This drama may trigger some viewers. Still, in real life many people are either emotionally disturbed or mentally ill and they need an anchor to help them through the dark days. FL is ML’s anchor and I admire the fact that despite her fear she chose to help him rather than abandon him to the darkness. I admire this production because it teaches a lesson about compassion, something many people don’t possess.

This is the second version of this story that I am watching. Both were well played. It's all fun and games and romantic because it's a drama but in reality obsession is terrifying especially when it's one sided. You can't force real love. If someone doesn't love you, it's okay, just move on otherwise you are selfish and toxic.

I’m about half way through this series and I hate how often the male friend puts undue pressure on the FL to not “provoke” the ML into acting recklessly for her, as if the ML has no control over his actions or emotions. It’s not her fault he is he’s unstable. The ML is fully responsible for making his own decisions and she has no obligation to choose him even if he is kind to her. He violates her autonomy and personal boundaries regularly. I wouldn’t want him either. And his friend is a creep.
