Enjoyed the podcast! The 'start a whisky club' topic is one that I am interested in. (TL;DR - People can be killjoys) A bit prior to the pandemic I attempted to start up a Scotch Whisky Appreciation Group (SWAG) in the office. Since just about no one around here drinks anything other than bourbon, I suggested that the we start off using my collection (~50 bottles at the time) for an 'at cost' fee for the drams. Some nights would be themed but I figured most would be grab whatever struck you that evening. I set up inventory sheets with the 2oz price for folks to keep track of their progress and what they owed (honor system). Initial interest seemed good but before we had our first event some coworkers accused me of trying to profit off them (or it was just wrong to ask for $ at all). That dampened interest of others as well as my desire to continue the effort at all.

@aqvavitae the topic is really interesting and the time can’t be better I reached @jezbhatti a week or so ago because I would love to create one here in Brussels because I ant find one
