Telemann restera pour moi le plus grand compositeur baroque quoi qu'on en dise ...toujours génial . Éclipsé pendant des siècle pour son trop grand nombre de composition ...Et pourtant de son vivant considéré comme le plus grand . Pour moi c'est bien le cas et sans conteste... je l'adore . Merci au interprète qui lui rende si bien hommage . Et merci telemann.....

Georg Philipp Telemann (14 de marzo de 1681, Magdeburgo, Alemania - 25 de junio de 1767, Hamburgo, Alemania ); abogado y autodidacta en música , padrino de C.P.E.Bach quien lleva su segundo nombre Philipp en su honor . Fue el más prolífico compositor del Barroco , de quien se dice que ni él sabía exactamente cuántas obras había escrito . Este exquisito concierto nos introduce por momentos en los albores del Clasicismo. En resumen , un absoluto y completo genio !! Gracias por compartir , magnífico portal Dramma per musica.

Telemann kept up with changing musical tastes in a way Bach did not - perhaps did not care to. In the same period T wrote this, B was writing the Art of Fugue - what a contrast!

My gosh. I swear sometimes Telemann sounds more like a Classical than Baroque composer. What a trailblazer.

Telemann teached Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach, who influenced Beethoven, Mozart and other `Sturm und Drang´-Composers.
