Great video. Thank you. I learn more from than my sport medicine doctor. I went to her complaining about tingling sensation in my ring and pinky fingers. She told me immediately it is from my neck. Then she told to get neck therapy for weeks. She never mentioned anything about lunar nerve. You’re absolutely right. I started feeling the tingling and numbness in those after using a computer on a desktop. That’s when it’s started. My doctor never mentioned anything about how I used my arm. She quickly sent for neck therapy at her office. Thank you for this video.

I have an incredibly painful spot, about 4 fingers down from my elbow on the Ulnar nerve side of the forearm. It does not cause the symptoms you speak of here (no numbness, tingling, or finger/hand issues), but if I lean my forearm on a table, or press that spot, it is truly a "10" on a pain scale of 1-10. I have tried the "flossing" exercises, castor oil packs, and ice. nothing seems to work for when that spot gets pressed. It must be work related as my elbows are always in the bent position, on the computer. I don't know what kind of a professional to see for a proper diagnosis. Do you think this could be ulnar nerve compression, if it only hurts in one spot along that nerve and only when pressed? It is not a normal pain ,and I've only had this for a month or so. Thanks.

My pain is in the elbow only, no symptoms at the finger. I noticed that when I sleep with my elbow straight, it makes the elbow pain worse. If I keep it bent by my side, the elbow pain is not there when I wake up. Any suggestions? My symptoms seem to be from overuse of lifting weights.

I meet you now for the first time...and I am so happy to! I have been suffering from tendonitis in my right elbow for a week or so. I rubbed a bit of diclofinac creme on it. I bought an "elbow support" brace, to wear during the day. It has extra compression "discs" on both sides below the elbow (on the forearm)..not too tight. This morning I woke up with a very painful ring finger. So I googled to see if there is a connection between the finger pain and elbow - and found you!!!! You explain it so thoroughly! and better yet, you explained the ulnar nerve exercise so well..I know what to do!!! thank you!!!

I'm almost certain I have cubital tunnel syndrome though I also have an earlier issue of a TFCC tear, carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar impaction syndrome. I've had debridement of the tear, release of the carpal tunnel and a terrible neuropathic pain complication for several months after the surgery. The pain in my medial elbow seems partly due to what feels like the nerve rolling across the bone. Is that a feature of cubital tunnel syndrome? I use my computer mouse on the arm of my couch and while it's soft, it's still immovable and the motion is repetitive. I have placed a gel pad (for metatarsal pain) under my elbow or rested it on my cold water bottle and gotten a little relief. Will a gel pad prevent nerve damage?

@billythecat it's going well, I had a submuscular nerve transposition with several bone spurs that were causing the problem. Therapy is going very well. The pain was moderate but I was on an oxycodone regimen for the first week and tapered off into acetaminophen. It was also on my dominant side so I needed to get this done as it was extremely difficult to even grip anything properly.
