I was loking at the Draper but after much deliberation i decided to go for the SGS 50L Compressor and also purchased a 50M rubber air hose, complete Air Tool kit , Wheel sockets and Impact wrench. with tools. All this for £200 delivered. Played with it this morning and well impressed so far. Go for the bigger comp, worth the extra money.

50 metres? You don't lose significant pressure over that distance no? Been trying to work out if I would be able to use an impact gun over much shorter distance with the SGS one, but yours is a massive 50m, and it works ok?!

Bollocks!!!! Not having the fact you didn't loosen the nuts first. That locking nut... The way you took that off manually with so much ease lmao I've never come across a locking nut in my life that when manually taking it off I'm jumping up n down on the wrench or extension bar.

if anything I feel like they torque up with torque wrench just there instead of drive a while with it on there which might mean it stick on harder and struggle to get off

Totally agree but he said they were tight yet stick a breaker bar on that locking wheel nut and it’s instantly loose with out even turning it 👀

I have the same compressor and gun and it won't undo tight wheel nuts. It doesn't give enough air. Just about enough to put air In the tyres . I now have a 150 litre. Much better

I think this compressor is definitely not the right one for this type of jobs... Need at least 100l ones. I got myself 150L draper and will be doing video on review of it this weekend as its perfect to use in my little car workshop. Check that out if you are interested in using one for car related stuff

Mario Jordan 8 gallons would work fine a 6 gallon one would give you little time before it starts back up again.

i would worry more about the lpm or cfm you can have the biggest tank in the world but if it doesnt put out what the impact gun requires then you're not going to have a fun time

I use a Draper 24v gun on my wheels and I cant get that to undo anything like the Torque it claims to do in the online demonstrations either!

Those wheel nuts weren't exactly tight.... I would recommend going for a bigger air compressor if your doing a reasonable amount of work. That noise of it refilling every 5 minutes gets boring real quick

HI, i have a question,i have a 50 ltr compressor,and i recently bought an impact gun to run on it,when i set it up,the gun was running very slowly and had no power what so ever,are there different types of gun,that run on different types of compressor,i have messaged the seller from where i bought gun from,so hoping to find out if i did anything wrong,what type of gun were you using on that car,thanks for your time...cheers.

Try it with a larger diameter hose

Check the CFM rating , most guns need at least 6.5 CFM to operate at full power, bigger tank means longer use but air flow is key when using impact wrench . SGS recommend no less than there 50litre 9.6 CFM tank.

24 ltr compressor isn't big enough and the draper gun is terrible, worst gun iv ever used at around 90-120 psi don't buy it! When I was at college we used this gun safe to say we all had a good laugh at how crap it was removing wheel bolts. Notice how he has a torque wrench and dosnt torque the wheels before trying to remove them 🤔 says he didnt loosen the bolts? Bull, the lock nut was barely tightened up 🙈🙈 Buy at least 100 ltr compressor and a good IR, SIP, BluePoint, Snap-on or draper expert level. Don't buy cheap crap off ebay and that cheap draper gun 😂😂
