Looks like an awesome rig, not to tell you how to live your life but the way the forestay is connected to the stem could shear or bend that bolt. If i were you, id cut a little slot on the inside T top of the bowsprit so the forestay would be right next to the bronze stem head hardware. Happy sailin

This is great, thanks for sharing. I've often wondered about your bowsprit arrangement. I'd be interested in seeing how your jib and yankee work at the masthead. I don't think the forward protrusion of the heel on the main yard of my Welsford 6-metre Whaler would give enough room for two jibs.

Thanks for sharing. Where did you source the hardware, especially that stem fitting with the slot for the bowsprit? Also, is the bowsprit sitka? Thanks again!

Hi, the hardware was accumulated from variuos sources like flea markets, etc, over the years. I think the stem fitting may have been stock, and the bow sprit was simply adjusted to fit. The sprit was off an old dinghy (it was once a boom).

Thanks for uploading this. Do the yankee and jib attach to the same place on the mast, or does the yankee attach higher?

They both attach to the cranse iron at the masthead.

So is that the same main and mizen or did the mizzen need upscaling to counter the extra forward sails?
