Drass DS8 SDV gains Black Scorpion torpedo capability

It's an unmanned version of the Imperial Japanese Navy's midget submarine from WWII.

It is manned - it's a swimmer delivery vehicle (SDV).

@@vmpgsc Is it manned? So it's really a "special submarine." Is it an effective use of SDVs? But are you researching a "torpedo" launch system for use in harbors or shallow waters?

Sub comes from a long italian tradition known as "incursori" today GOI. Torpedo is on sales by Leonardo, but please note: it's not a 533mm heavy (1600 Kg) one, it's not a 324mm Light Weight Torpedo (250/350 Kg), It's not a Very Light Weight Torpedo (120 Kg) by american standard (it is as per italian's idea), but for them is a mini/micro torpedo (20 Kg). It a torpedo to deal with midget submarines or for self defense from harbor patrol craft (speed +15 knot max depth 200m unknown range but for sure short). One person hold it in his hands and could be a way to launch it from boats. It fit sonobuoy launchers. Same size.
