Draupadi rejected Karna and addressed him as Sutaputra but Draupadi had no intention to insult him. It was her will. In Swayamvar, maidens are free to choose their husband. But Karna insulted Draupadi intentionally.

Devi Draupadi ne ye baat nhi kahi thi, ye serial me dikhaya hai यत्कर्णशल्यप्रमुखैः पार्थिवैर्लोकविश्रुतैः | नानतं बलवद्भिर्हि धनुर्वेदपरायणैः ||४|| तत्कथं त्वकृतास्त्रेण प्राणतो दुर्बलीयसा | बटुमात्रेण शक्यं हि सज्यं कर्तुं धनुर्द्विजाः ||५| It means that if kings like Karna and Shalya who are world famous and well versed in the Dhanur Vidya (archery skills) failed in the task, then how this weak Brahmin (referring to Arjuna) who has no knowledge of weapons succeed in the test? & एते चान्ये च बहवो धार्तराष्ट्रा महाबलाः | कर्णेन सहिता वीरास्त्वदर्थं समुपागताः ||४|| This means that Karna is invited in the Swayamvar. It also indicates that Drupada (Draupadi’s father) does not consider Karna unqualified for the Swayamvar. So it clearly indicates Karna takes part in the Swayamvar but failed in the task. Thus the popular story that in which “Draupadi rejects Karna” is later added to the narrative. Please don't be fool by making Karna the unsung hero & Devi Draupadi (incarnation of Swargalaxmi ~ Sachi Indrani) the villain, actually it's the Opposite!! Karna was brave & powerful but sided with adharmis and did so many wrong things & Devi Draupadi was the Mahanayika of the epic Mahabharata!!! Take love!!!❤

I'm not an Arjun fan nor Karna fan but according to Ved vyas Arjun was far better yodha than Karna!!! He beated Karna so many times! & jo Angaraj Karna ki Kavach ki baat thi to ek shield kya kisi insaan ki taakat batati hai? Ap vichar kijie na! Agar kavach uske sath rehta to equality kaha hoti? Arjun k pas kya usko raksha krne k lie koi Kavach thi nhi! Sirf Karna k pas thi to equal rehkar agar nhi ladoge to kisme kitna samarth hai wo kese jana jaega!! Or Sab se badi baat Angraj Karna agar Dharm ka saath dete Or adharm ka sath chod dete to Lord Shree Krishna kya unka sath nhi dete? Unhone to Karna ko dharm k marg pe lane ka boht prayas kiye the par unhone Dharmgyani hokar vi adharm ka sath nhi chore! Aur to aur Dyut parva me Angaraj Karna ka sabse bada paap Devi Draupadi ko Vehsya-Byavicharini bulana ye konsa Dharmik ka kya kaam hai? Karn ko Draupadi ne sootputra nahi kaha tha balki Karn khud dori nahi laga paata hai us dhanush pe isliye haarta hai ye aata hai Mahabharat book me aur Karn ke maamle me to 99% jhuth dikhaya hai serials ne ek folk story ke adhaar pe jo Mahabharat ka hissa nahi. Arjun ko takkar dene keliye vo Dronacharya se kaha ki usey Brahmaastra bhi sikhaaye jispe Dronacharya ji samajh gaye uske iraade isliye mana kar diye to vo Guru Parshuram ke paas gaya jhuth bolke sirf Brahmastra seekhne.. Brahmastra ke alawa usne baaki sab kuch Dronacharya se seekha tha aur bachpan me Bheem ko zehar dene ka idea Duryodhan ko Karn hi deta hai. But he was not that famous that he would get a mention alongside the likes of Duryodhana, Salya, Aswatthaman etc.

Then the mention of second Failure - “Then Arjuna approached the bow and stood there like a mountain. And walking round that bow, and bending his head unto that giver of boons--the lord Isana--and remembering Krishna also, he took it up. And that bow which Rukma, Sunitha, Vakra, Radha's son, Duryodhana, Salya, and many other kings accomplished in the science and practice of arms, could not even with great exertion, string, Arjuna, the son of Indra, that foremost of all persons endued with energy and like unto the younger brother of Indra (Vishnu) in might, strung in the twinkling of an eye. ” [Ref - Adi Parva: Swayamvara Parva: Section CLXL] Note - Radha had many sons but it was obvious that Radha’s son Karna could be the only one who could get a mention alongside the likes of Salya, Duryodhana etc.
