The ideaof the other titans appearing in myth but Laviente being totally and truly undocumented is a really interesting idea to me. And a bit scary too. The easiest explanation is that no one survived to tell the take after all...

There’s actually a bunch of monsters from frontier that are just toned down enough to be in the mainline series and laviente is one of them Edit: espinas wasn’t in mind but now it’s canon so I’ll *probably* expect more frontier monsters coming over

If they decannonize the whole edgy island destroyer thingy, and just make it a big ass snake and make it about the side effects of it's existance and effect on the world (which its core theme almost wask) then I'd be good with it... Only problem is that there's loads of monsters just like that already.

"a butch of"? No, it's the vast majority of them. The thing is that most people's first contact with Frontier was with videos of monsters like Blinking Nargacuga, Zenith Tigrex or Zenith Rukodiora, which made them think all of Frontier was like that. It's not.

​@@GrievyRZ But the whole "edgy island destroying thing" (which is actually island consuming, because he eats the islands) is exactly what makes his existance have an effect in the word. The guild sends hunters to hunt it because they fear that it will start feeding on the continent, destroying multiple ecossistems and irreversibly damaging everything.
