Raging Brachydios will always be one of my favorite hunts in Iceborne. Changing his hunt from old-gen as just "brachy on steroids" to an explosive frenzy, having to be smart about your evasion unless you want to dodge into another explosion, all building up to a literal cage match: no farcasters, no traps. Only way out is either *he* dies, or *YOU* die, and this cage match is when he's at his deadliest. Perfection.

Awesome job! It's times like these when I whis there was a different system in place than the current mount theme mechanics, like if there was an enrage theme mechanic or all of worlds themes were always completed instead of leaving room a whole new instrument that gives the music a total different vibe than a fight (like Vaal hazak and his bongos or Teostra and his Agnaktor friend clacking) while leaving the main them fell empty or unpolished (Elders Recess and New world Glavenus). Look at Zinogre for instance, his main theme is pretty good but could be better however his mount theme is AWESOME and everything that the main theme could have been but we will barely ever EVER hear that work of art in the hunt for anymore than 3 seconds at a time and it is possible to go entier hunts without hearing it. WHAT GIVES CAPCOM!!!

Bro I loved this fight so much, in my first encounter I was getting absolutely thrown around with dual blades. So I grinded for a Velkhanna insect glaive and watched a tutorial on him and heard to just be aggressive and it worked. It also gave me an immortal reactor on my first clear so now I am a happy man with Raging Brachy dual blades. Now I just have to go through fighting stygian zinogre and furious rajang though I don’t think they’ll compare to the living hell that was this fight

This fight will forever stick out in my mind as one of the most intense MHW fights I've had, aside from obviously Fatalis. One other person from our main group of 4, and me decided to try fighting Raging Brachy on our own while we waited for the other 2 members of our team to wake up. He's a HH main and me HBG, both of us "not that great" compared to the other 2 on our team, to say the least lol. It took us a couple of tries before we even got to the final part. Neither of us were expecting that final arena battle, nor did we come prepared at all. I was down to my last 2 potions. There was a lot of frantic running around and panicking. But somehow, and I don't know how, we did it, on our first try in that final phase. I will never forget that moment.

There are only three monsters who use vocals in their themes in MHWI as far as I know. Safi’jiiva, Fatalis, and Raging Brachy. To me, this says that this very angry wyvern is on par with two monsters who are literally at the top of the entire food chain.
