Amazing video, there’s so little tutorials on complex Custom painter projects so this was definitely something new! Would love to see a port of this project as a Node based editor where nodes can be connected and contain form elements.

I would love to add that too, and although cannot promise anything, will take a stab at it soon. The challenge is going to be implementing the intersectsWith method. I found the math, but it seems like it's going to be complicated 😂 But I will keep you updated it I ever implement it and create content around it!

Thanks for the suggestion! Creating "Supabase with bloc" and "Supabase with Riverpod" tutorial has been always at the back of my head, so I will try to incorporate architectural best practices as well if the video lands.

Can you make a video demonstrating the process of creating an edge function that integrates with a third-party SMS sender provider? The function should be capable of either creating a user with an authorized phone number or allowing a logged-in user to authenticate using that number and receive a session token.

Yes, there will be more parts! I plan to add image upload, being able to edit the shapes such as size, fill color, and border color, and support for more complex object like the "pen tool" of the actual Figma! If you have any specific requests, let me know!

My honest opinion, I think Flutter is better in a lot of ways. It is easier to build UI using Flutter than React Native.

The app has the real-time collaborative mechanism. The main difference between the current app's state and Figma is adding support for more "shapes" and edit feature of the objects. With that being said, would you be more interested if this tutorial video was a lot longer, and contained a lot more features to make it closer to Figma? Would love to hear what the community thinks to improve my future videos.
