hi! love your videos, so its basically that you need to creat a 3d guide for every sigle thing like a small chair in a huge space,is that right? and when i draw a 3d guide line with neaty pen holding a second, its still could be slightly incline so the whloe space inclined too, is there some way to set the line defaulted to parallel to space basic line?

Hi! Yes you need to create guides for everything. I heard they made some major updates. I'll check this out, and try to record a new video about it.

When I go to purchase it say's "This app is available only on the App Store for iPad." How do you get it for Microsoft surface? I don't see any option for using it as a web app on android or pc either which I have seen mentioned a few times?

This is such a good idea, and I love it, but I wanna use it to draw houses and rooms, but every time I start drawing the thing I draw becames 3d, like, I was trying to do the floor plant you drawed at 3:33 but every line I draw becames this 0:56 but flat, and I don't understand, what did you do to be able to draw the entire plant?

In the beginning, it is not easy to deal with the guide. If you want something flat, you'll have to draw a straight line for the guide (as first stroke). And to draw the entire plant, I have just traced a straight guide (again) and drew the plant on it (if you look closer, you'll see it's in 2D) If you're having difficulties, I am planning on making another video about this app :)

Once I was stuck with my drawing too, when I sent them a message they told me this is a bug with the new update. Try deleting and re downloading the app.

The application is incredible, but it is still a bit primitive for us architects, because you cannot use a library of objects that are repeated like doors and windows, etc. I think their clients are for graphic designers, but I hope this application evolves and you can make straight lines...

To a complete beginner who has never heard of feather before or even experienced this kind of sketching, it was not at all clear what was happening-especially in the sped up footage. I get it now but didn’t then. Not everyone can be a genius like yourself 😊

You said, and i copy and paste - "No explanation of guides and stuff." - that's simply not true. she did explain guides and as i said, that's one of the first things she explained. now, if it's not a good explanation or you didn't understand it, that's fine and a fair criticism. but it's misleading to say she didn't explain it. Your comment is the top comment here and I almost stopped watching after reading it. thankfully, as you said, being the genius that I am, bothered to continue to pay attention and saw her break down how guide works. :)

Anyway, I was referring to the actual project she was working on which was the area that was of most importance to me and most likely many others. She may have initially explained what guides are but their actual use during the construction of the building (along with some other stuff she was doing) is what was not well explained (IMO), and that was my only point.. It’s like explaining to someone what a washing machine is and what it does, but when it comes down to actually using it, u don’t do a great job explaining what you’re doing 😊 Besides, there are at least 30 other people who agree with me, and understand what I meant; so you really don’t have to go liking your own comment just to prove some point. 😀
