I love how all of the Sailor Scouts have their own unique dresses, while still maintaining that iconic scout uniform motif. The shading on the colors of their respective elements is especially amazing. Maybe someday you can do another set with Jupiter and Venus, my personal favorite Sailor Scouts btw.

This is very nice. My personal favorites: I used to like all the Senshi, I still do. But now that I'm older I gravitated toward Sailors Mercury and Jupiter in terms of the inner Senshi, and Sailors Saturn and Pluto in terms of the outer Senshi. I would love for you to draw Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Sailor Chibi Moon, and the Outer Senshi (Sailors Uranus, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto) next. And I'd love to see your interpretations of characters from Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power, Lupin the Third, Cutie Honey, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle sometime.

I really like these! Mercury is my favorite Scout as well. And that episode where she almost left for Germany was actually the first episode of the SM anime I ever saw! They happened to be playing it in the waiting room at my orthodontist's office and I remember being bummed when they called me in cause I wanted to finish watching it.

I always love it when you draw Sailor Moon characters!! Seeing you adding the flames, water, etc. to each dress makes me wish that their official princess dresses had something like that too. Oh! My favorite sailor scout was and still is Sailor Mars. I love this video! I introduced Sailor Moon to my daughter when she was 3 and it is her absolute favorite anime. It was also my 1st as well.

My favorite Sailor Moon characters are Sailor Moon herself(because I feel like I can relate to her a lot) and the three cats, Luna, Artimes, and Diana.(Because I'm a cat person and love the idea of being accompanied almost everywhere you go by an adorable feline companion, talking or non-talking. Plus, they're just such a sweet little kitty family.) I can't choose which of these three drawings I like best. They're all so beautiful. Keep up the good work. Hopefully, we'll see you do the other scouts as Disney princesses in the future. :)

Great job Mei! My favorite was Mercury because of how graceful she looked, but I love the purple accents you gave to Mars. I hope you do Sailor Jupiter, I'd just love to see how you'd incorporate the lightning into her design. She's my favorite scout because she kicks so much butt and she's just really cool. Pluto and Mini/Chibi would also be really cool to see in your style. This was a really fun one and I always love your Sailor Moon content, you do a great job and the characters hold a very special place in my heart.

My favorite Sailor is Neptune because I want to be that elegant someday. I'm really looking forward to seeing if you do the other Sailor Guardians. My favorite of the three here is definitely Mercury. I think Sailor Moon was my first anime. I remember walking past the TV as a small small child and seeing Serena stand her ground against Prince Diamond and then she shouts Moon Crystal Power and the screen flashes pink and my wig was snatched. I've been a moonie ever since.

This was incredible. I might not be a huge Sailor Moon fan since it wasn't something I grew up watching, but I find there's just so much fun and wonder with its story that is further complimented by the wonderful art of these sailor scouts. I'm also a fan of all of your Disney princesses themed and inspired videos a lot since its always fun to draw something in a different genre. So seeing you do this with Drawing Sailor Moon characters as if they were Disney Princesses is just amazing. Sailor Moon's looks like she's an almost elegant and classic looking princess who while shows that she's both poised and proper still manages to maintain that fighting spirit, plus I really love how she still maintains her classic look while rocking that very poofy styled dress. Sailor Mercury's looks like she's an ethereal beauty who still maintains that elegant and graceful presence of a magical princess that dwells with the sea and cares for its plants and sea animals, plus I really love how simple yet stylish her look is that still honours her original design and just connects to who she is as a character while always working well with her powers over water. Sailor Mars's looks like she's an amazing and powerful princess who loves to show her powerful magical abilities as well as showing the world how she's to protect her friends and will always have their back, plus I really love how her design really shows the more unique side of her character and gives off the appearance of someone who would fit perfectly as a champion of the element of fire This was definitely a fun video and Its hard to pick a favourite since I love all of the designs from this video, but If I really had to choose...Id say that Sailor Mars's was my favourite because her design is so simple but still shows some great details and she's just so awesome as a member of the Sailor Scouts...and she's also my favourite character from Sailor Moon. I'd definitely be interested in seeing another video like this one and Id love to see you try to turn maybe Daenerys, Lucy (from the Chronicles of Narnia), Eowyn, Rhaenyra or Galadriel as Disney princesses since they are pretty interesting characters. I also got your "Princesses with Tattoos colouring book and art book in one" colouring book this Christmas since its one of my favourites, and I'm looking forward to actually colouring it and sharing my take on your designs with you and everyone else. I loved sailormoon the most, I'm 31. Just turned on August 24th. It was my first anime as a kid. So it did make a huge impact on me. Actually even my profile pic of sailormoon i made and is a brief animation on my KZbin channel. Second is mercury. I have alot in common most with sailormoon tho. Not good in school. Love manga, sleeping n eating. Was a crybaby and grew a backbone overtime with support from my friends. Also a cat lover. Which I own 2 cats currently named Nala and padme. After waiting for so long, you finally bless us with your favorite anime hero in practically everyone’s favorite style. And I find it Glorious. I already have so many thoughts about how to explain how I love it. Sailor Moon: I see her as the leader of the guardian princesses of the celestial kingdom in your Multiverse. Always ready to fight to protect her friends and the innocent people. Along with the help of her fellow guardian princesses and her prince. Sailor Mercury: I seem to imagine her coming out of a body of water like a lake. As she walks out the water around her own body forms into her dress and via her hidden celestial magic it solidifies into enchanted fabrics. I also imagine her dancing with her fellow guardian princesses and as she dances, the water moves with her steps and commands. Sailor Mars: For her I also imagine her coming out of fire but in a different way. Like a fireball lands in a ballroom and the flames take shape of a young woman. After her body and hair solidify, she steps out of the fire and the flames around/covering her body cool and solidify into her shoes and dress. Overall I really love this and before you ask me, yes Sailor Moon is part of my Multiverse. Now I ask for your help in persuading Popcross Studios into drawing Sailor Moon as a Dragon that I call the Lunar Sailora Guardian. I’m pretty sure fans like you would like to see that right?

This is making me think of something funny. I was reading an askreddit discussion about being bilingual and nobody knowing it. Some people were visiting Disney, and heard Japanese tourists make fat jokes about Americans. The secretly bilingual guy warned tat many Otaku are here and know what you are saying, so be careful. Nice details, I always like seeing east meets west pictures. I made my emblem that way, I combined 1960s American hot rod art with a Nissan that was never street legal in the USA. 4:39 It would shatter the glass chandeliers in the castle. 5:15 When I was in high school, boys preferred Mercury, girls preferred Jupiter. This was before S reached the USA, I don't know if anyone would have preferred outer or starlights. 5:55 Maybe borrow some elements from Fantasia? That had a lot of water based magic. About a year ago, I went to a local comic convention and a team of sailor senshi cosplayers were there. They had a "Sailor Moon Jeopardy" game. In one question, it was asked "What is Sailor Mercury very good at?" I said "Water based magic" their answer was "Academics." I don't remember how we reacted, because perhaps both answers could have been correct? 8:32 I do think it is funny that the has fire based magic and has a fiery temper. Thanks for the fire element used there. 9:20 They did a good job of that in the episode with Banbanban. She had Sailor Moon's magic wand, and was conflicted about giving it back when she was losing the battle. Having someone hide her magic wand was key to the strategy, but it was difficult for her. Thanks, and I hope to see Jupiter.
