Thanks for the video! Love the bee and puppycat music! Also, the thing I like most about your style is the textured feel and how neat it looks. I have always thought of it as a crayon texture, but like you said, its watercolor-esque too. And one last thing, this video showed me drawing on ipad is harder than I thought! There's a lot put in to make the shapes looks just right and I didnt know it took so much crafting on your part!

sometimes watching these feels like the artist gets it right with one stroke, which is the power of editing but can make people feel really bad when their own art involves so much trial and error. Thank you for keeping in most of your clips so that we can see that even someone like you, who creates BEAUTIFUL art, still has many instances of using the eraser function. would you ever make a video going into detail about your coloring techniques? i love the way you color but cant figure out how you color only the line art in the part of the video where you talk about adding texture, if not do you have a vide linking to this coloring technique?

I'm super new to Procreate (yesterday lol!), but the lineart is on a separate layer to the main colouring. To colour to lines you turn alpha lock on the line layer, then with it selected as the layer you are drawing on you can re-colour the lines without affecting anything else. I want to know how she colours so well within the lines! 😂

Hi! Thank you for making this video. I have zoomed in and slowed down a dozen times, but I still can’t figure out this one detail-how do you use alpha lock to help your coloring? I saw you enabled it but I can’t tell what that feature did it which layer you enabled it on. I’m trying to learn as much as I can and this alpha lock button is really confusing.

I did not understand why she put alpha lock on layer at 8:40? Would love to know the purpose. And then what she did with stroke layers at the end? Would love if some experts comment, since I did not see she ever replies to her comments

She put alpha lock because she doesn’t have to paint like around it if u know what I mean so she can draw in it without it like messing a lot of things up
