Hello, everyone. this is Kynosys. I collaborated on a laser engraver with a company called IKIER. It's a small piece of equipment, but it performs quite well. I think it will be useful for carving letters or cutting small pieces in the future. I was looking for a place to install this equipment, and I had a very interesting idea. The idea is that it would be nice to pop out of the drawer rather than occupy a place in a narrow workshop. Just in time, the lower part of the work called my sanding base is very wide, so I decided to go there. With the drawer as the base, the table on which the lift is placed bounces forward with the pneumatic cylinder. And when I lift the lift, the laser engraver comes up to a comfortable working position. And the important part is the safety. When you're inside, the up and down button is disabled and doesn't work, but it's activated only when the table pops forward. It means you can't raise the table from the inside The moment the lift table is raised, the forward reverse switch is deactivated, and the table is not activated until the end. This means that with the table up, you can't reverse it and go inside. It is a system that can guarantee safety with a simple limit switch. You will also be able to use it useful when making equipment that performs double action. And I'm attaching the link to this product. Please refer to it. You did it again. Knocked it right out of the park. Now I need to build one for my laser engraver. Thanks for sharing.

A little hello from France, I love all your videos which I find very inspiring... I have two questions: is it possible to make the engravings when the drawer is closed? and if so, is it ventilated and filtered? and I find it a bit of a shame that the block doesn't move forward completely, I mean with the drawers? because when it is open, the drawers become inaccessible... and congratulations again for your intelligence, your manual mastery, and your stock of spare parts in all areas makes me dream...

I am very happy to have a friend who supports me in a far away country. I think it's a gift from KZbin. I didn't know that you would be wondering if the laser engraving machine works even when the equipment is inside. I guess I should have explained it in advance. Since the laser engraver is a type of electric heating device, I never thought about making it work inside an invisible part. Doing so could be dangerous. And, it is true that the drawer cannot be opened when the equipment is in the front. This is a limitation of the structure of this work. If I need something in the drawer, it can be a bit frustrating. I will have to carefully select what I keep in my drawers. Your diverse opinions are worthy of due consideration. These are things I hadn't even thought about. It's of great help to me. I am deeply grateful to you.

Spoiler intro! Awesome project! But what did you do with the big bin you rolled out and replaced with the engraver station?

did anyone else catch the unnecessary center finding for the holes after the outline was engraved? I always find stuff like that amusing. For future reference, you can add the center mark in the engraving file and you could engrave the outline deep enough so that you don't need to drill from both sides with the forsner bit, just from the front with a pilot drill to locate the holes on the back and then drill with the larger bit from the back and since the veneer is scored by the laser it should prevent chipout. Also, I love your builds but, you use sooooo many screws even though you use glue and nails and I can't help but think that one of those fastening methods could be eliminated.

Facts that are enough to be pointed out, I accept it painfully. Actually, since it was my first time using a laser engraver, I missed the fact that I could mark the center point and focused too much on using the acrylic center finder I made. And because the pneumatic cylinder exerts such strong force, I wanted to combine the pieces as strongly as possible. Thank you very much for the long article.
