I’m not gonna lie, this episode was actually very helpful for me. I have a really really big fear of home invasion. ESPECIALLY the idea of someone living in my house without me knowing. It sends shivers up my spine and my body goes completely numb whenever I see my reflection in the dark because I don’t recognize it as myself. Living in the walls, coming out at night to eat food actually happened in Japan. A homeless women got into a young man's unlocked apartment while he was at work one day and hid in his futon closet while he was home, coming out while he was at work to eat small amounts of his food, wash, and use his bathroom. He only caught her by setting up cameras to see if he had rats when he finally noticed more food than what he was eating was disappearing.
