My favorite thing Nathan has been doing as of late is whenever someone says something not that controversial but says it in a way that SOUNDS controversial (Usually Jacob saying it), he just let's out a quick, emotionless, "Whoa." Maybe he's always done it and I've only now noticed, and maybe it's not a bit, but it's SUCH a good bit. It sounds like he's the second guy on a wacky morning zoo radio show, but he couldn't give one care in the world, and is busy reading his phone while his co-host tries to push the envelope. Like, Jacob could be spinning a noise maker and saying something like "Capitalism? More like..." "Oh no." "...CRAPITALISM!" "Whoa."

Holy c#%p, I am also from Buffalo, and I actually have some input about the Japan connection! Kanazawa Japan and Buffalo NY are sister cities; I know this specifically because a couple of my friends are ambassadors to Kanazawa and the Japanese Cultural Society here in Buffalo. I can't pretend to know much about the music connection, but here in Buffalo we have a Japanese garden that was donated to us by the city of Kanazawa, and every May we have a cherry blossom festival of our very own. The Japanese Garden and the Cherry Blossom trees are all located near our history museum, as well as two art museums, in an Olmstead park. There is actually a ton of history here in Buffalo; it's a shame we aren't known for too much besides chicken wings (although, the chicken wings are pretty good imho). Can confirm, there is a "little bit wrong with Buffalo".
