For some reason for me the only colors that blended were red and yellow in my crayola set

I used to put my harder pencils in a cup of hot water for like 5 mins and then dry them off and it made it easier to blend cuz they were softer but they do become more fragile so be careful if you do try it !! And hot water obvs

Obviously, most of it is the talent, but having good quality paper really helps because it lets you add more layers on top of each other and blend them without ripping the paper
