Why do I always quit? Everything I ever started with expectations in the end have always died, including drawing. For the first few days I’m pumped and motivated so I make it my most important aspect of the day. A few days pass by and I’m doing it less. Weeks go by and I already forgotten about it, also including art. One time I wanted to learn Spanish, didn’t last a month. Once I wanted to work out, didn’t last a month. Once I wanted to play the guitar, didn’t last a month. Once I wanted to learn to code because I’m a nerd, guess what? IT DIDNT LAST A MONTH. Why do I always lose interest in things that take time when in the beginning I cared. In the beginning of all these things, I didn’t care what it would take. So it was definitely not because it was hard. Why does motivation lie to your face? Motivation is a curse because it’s no different than fire wood. It may last some time but in the end it’ll just fade away... Is it just because I never cared about it and I just wanted to look cool? I don’t know! This has been pissing me off because I want to be skilled at guitar and drawing, but every day I just don’t give a shit. I genuinely did care in the beginning and I’m sick of this. Could anyone please tell me why this is the case and how I could overcome these annoyances?
