Enjoy a bit of vent art. We are in trying times, and we need to do the best we can out of the situation. The future is uncertain, but don’t just sit down to let the end come. A bit of Acrocanthosaurus facts here at the end for those who want that:
Acrocanthosaurus name mean “high spines lizard”
They lived in North America around 110 million years ago
It’s a carcharodontosaurid, and related to other famous names like Giganotosaurus and Concavenator.
Among theropods, Acrocanthosaurus has unusually tall neutral spines, on par with that many spinosaurids have. But while they usually had sails, the spines in this animal more often seem to be more for muscle attachments, rather than just a sail.
