I truly believe the path is open for you to continue your art career/income if you choose to do it there are many ways artist can earn a living these days. I hope your channel continues and you continue to develop it and who knows maybe even make it a big money maker! Wishing you only the best and sending you good healing thoughts. So be well my young friend.

Ha! 55 yo joining rank! Except: I have had the blessings of a loving start, artistic talent and an interest in what is beyond the veil of plastic and money... So I have developed to be able to say: I am an artist, and it is just fine to not be fit for careering along the ol' rat race. Getting better at loving oneself and feeling one's intrinsic worthiness are *very* useful pursuits along the way to realising *how* 'grown up' you actually already are... 🤘🙂🖖

I’m going to college for art soon. I hope it’s as fun as it was in your experience! Also, you were a very early inspiration for me. I don’t remember what the exact video was called, but the first time I watched one of your videos (at least 7 years ago) a specific drawing of yours caused my little self to want to draw just like you. For a while, a lot of my art was completely abstract, using fineliners or the cheap fountain pen I got for a birthday one time. Often I would use ballpoint pens in class to pass the time. Eventually I found my own style I liked to use, but your art and personality had such a big effect on how I worked, and still work. I might never have explored this kind of art. Thank you for being there, although you didn’t know it, to make part of the artist I am today and for causing a third of my college portfolio to be cool looking scribbles 😆. You had a huge effect on my life :3

Couldn't sleep tonight. It's 00:58 and I need to get up at 06:40. My brain just seems to want to think, but it keeps turning negative, feeling without hope. Something I have managed to work through as of recent and be rather pleased with myself. However, tonight just seems to want to take hold of me, prevent me from being able to switch off. As I lay here uncertain as to why I can't sleep, I remember someone that used to speak calmly and would always inspire me to keep going forwards. It has been five years since I watched Peter draws ink. You inspired me to be okay with not perfecting everything I do, using mistakes as opportunities, draw how I wish to draw, remain curious of the world, and how to be relaxed. The lessons you taught me five years ago have stuck with me. Today, I returned to remember how to relax. Thank you for helping me. Keep drawing.

My suggestion: stay in the art/education field. In other words, you would make a fantastic art teacher. If you were able to work on your masters and get a job on campus as a part-time art instructor you would be in your element, in my opinion. You are VERY inspirational and you are a one-of-a-kind guy. You are also very kind to others who may be learning art and fairly low on self confidence.

I’m 37 with a graphic design degree, yet working at a Cemetery/Mortuary helping families. Now, I want to deep dive into being a death and grief expert to help educate the public (America). Yet I have SO many other interests! Tarot and artwork - making money with both and feeling fulfilled. Now, I realize I just want to be happy in life, and spread a little happiness wherever I go. That’s my true life’s purpose. The job is merely a bonus. Important for money and living. Not quite as important as the joy I feel taking a walk and seeing a butterfly. Cheesy but true

Also, happily there are plenty of weekly art communities out there! I go to life drawing sessions for professionals and novices and meet artists of all ages. Draw in the park groups - museum groups. And they are inexpensive- drink and draw sessions are always fun too. Drawing jams with friends old and new at coffee shops. OR create your own drawing community! I created my own community and people will come, trust me. :)

Organize a local art/craft meetup group! Or join a local maker space to nurture your inner artistic butterfly. There are so many adults doing artistic things that are looking for other artsy people to hang with. I’ve found several different groups and spaces in my area, and I also organize meetups, which can be work buts it’s very rewarding. Best of luck!

I took a lot of courses through my local community centers (pottery, stained glass, sewing, crochet, glass fusing). The were interesting ways to try different artistic outlets. Perhaps they have something similar in your area that may interest you. Maybe you can find or start an art collective or some other group.

For me personally, your art started out as a fascinating, ultra-detailed curiosity. I was watching you years ago. Shoot, at this point it was years and years, not just years. As you experimented with color, and occasionally did "real" drawings like that tree-house, I thought you were going to branch (lol) into less abstract stuff, which would be more to my taste, but as you probably know, that never happened. If you don't want to start doing anything traditional, which probably would pull in a lot of additional viewers but may not be interesting enough for you, perhaps you could do something with your ability to speak, and to be interesting while speaking? Have you seen the Minute Hour? It's a show where a guy does a modern version of what are essentially radio plays. I like his "Markus and Minkus" video, and highly recommend you look it up. It's odd, but not so odd that I think it'll lose you. Somehow, with the power of sound and music and voice acting, the guy was able to give me the feeling of like, Invader Zim or the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, only with adult language here and there. It's one single story with a beginning, middle and solid ending. Maybe it'll inspire you. I know that I would love to do something like it, but I'm putting everything I have into the novel I'm writing. One day, though, I'll write a radio play, commission someone to make music for it, get some sound effects together and make something I'm proud of that, naturally, no one will ever listen to, lol. Maybe I could even write something that you could then do some art for? That may sound self-indulgent, but it's a thought. Your abstract art combined with completely traditional writing. I wonder. . . . Either way, I'm sure you'll figure somethin'. Godspeed, and thanks for the years of entertainment.
